Claims (9)
- 섬유의 단면 방향으로 굴절율이 변동하는 광섬유 제조 방법에 있어서,(a)미반응 제1 단량체 0-50중량%를 함유하는, 제1 중합체로 부터 형성된 코어 중합체를,상응하는 중합체가 코어 중합체의 굴절율보다 최소 0.01 낮은 굴절율을 나타내는 제2 단량체와 접촉시키는 단계;(b)상기 제2 단량체를 코어 중합체내로 확산시키는 단계;(c)코어 중합체를 통하여 제2 단량체를 확산에 의해 균일 분포하기 전에,제2 단량체와 어떤 미반응 제1 단량체의 중합을 개시함으로써 변형된 코어의 굴절율이 코어의 중심으로 부터 코어의 가장 자리로 경사 방식으로 감소하고코어의 중심에서의 굴절율과 코어의 가장 자리에서의 굴절율차가 최소 0.005가 되도록 코어를 변형시키는 단계;(d)상기 코어 중합체를 내부 다공성 환경에 근접하여 배치하는 단계;(e)상기 다공성 환경을 통과하여 외부 다공성 환경으로 부터 제2 단량체를 확산시켜 코어 중합체의 표면에 제2 단량체를 균일하게 분포시키는 단계;(f)상기 제2 단량체의 요구되는 양이 코어 중합체에 흡수되도록 코어 중합체의 확산된 제2 단량체와 접촉하는 시간과 확산 영역의 온도를 조정하는 단계;(g)상기 코어 중합체를 통하여 제2 단량체의 확산에 의한 균일한 분포전에 제2 단량체와 어떠한 미반응 제1 단량체의 중합을 개시하는 단계;를 포함하는굴절율이 변동하는 광섬유 제조 방법
- 섬유의 단면 방향으로 굴절율이 변동하는 광섬유 제조 방법에 있어서,(a)미반응 제1 단량체 0-50중량%를 함유하고, 제1 중합체로 부터 형성된 코어 중합체를상응하는 중합체가 코어 중합체의 굴절율보다 최소 0.01 낮은 굴절율을 나타내는 제2 단량체와 접촉시키는 단계;(b)상기 제2 단량체를 코어 중합체내로 확산시키는 단계;(c)코어 중합체를 통하여 제2 단량체를 확산에 의해 균일 분포하기 전에,제2 단량체와 어떤 미반응 단량체의 중합을 개시함으로써, 변형된 코어의 굴절율이 코어의 중심으로 부터 코어의 가장 자리로 경사 방식으로 감소하고코어의 중심에서의 굴절율과 코어의 가장 자리에서의 굴절율차가 최소 0.005가 되도록 코어를 변형시키는 단계;(d)상기 코어 중합체를 다공성 환경 내부를 통과하여 연속 모드에서 유동시키는 단계;(e)상기 다공성 환경을 통과하여 외부 다공성 환경으로 부터 제2 단량체를 확산시켜 코어 중합체의 표면에 제2 단량체를 균일하게 분포시키는 단계;(f)상기 제2 단량체의 요구되는 양이 코어 중합체에 흡수되도록 코어 중합체의 확산된 제2 단량체와 접촉하는 시간과 확산 영역의 온도를 동시에 혹은 순차적으로 조정하는 단계;(g)상기 다공성 환경으로 부터 흡수된 제2 단량체를 함유하는 코어 중합체의 방출 혹은 제거시 제2 단량체와 어떠한 미반응 제1 단량체의 중합을 개시하는 단계;를 포함하는 굴절율이 변동하는 광섬유 제조 방법
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 환경은 세라믹 혹은 유리임을 특징으로 하는 방법
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 나아가 중합의 첨가 개시제가 제2 단량체의 확산에 앞서 혹은 확산도중 제2 단량체에 첨가됨을 특징으로 하는 방법
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 첨가 개시제는 광개시제이며,다공성 환경으로 부터 흡수된 제2 단량체를 함유하는 코어 중합체의 방출 혹은 제거시 상기 제2 단량체와 어떠한 미반응 제1 단량체의 중합은 자외선 노출에 의해 개시됨을 특징으로 하는 방법
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 코어 중합체의 중합 및 제2 단량체의 확산과 중합은 연속 공정임을 특징으로 하는 방법
