Claims (11)
- 제1 내지 제3부화소를 포함하는 기판과;
상기 기판 상부의 상기 제1 내지 제3부화소 각각에 배치되는 박막트랜지스터와;
상기 기판 상부의 상기 제1 내지 제3부화소 각각에 배치되고, 서로 이격되는 화소전극 및 공통전극과;
상기 화소전극 및 상기 공통전극 상부의 상기 제1부화소에 배치되고, 제1액정분자를 포함하는 제1액정캡슐, 제1컬러수지, 상기 제1액정캡슐 및 상기 제1컬러수지가 분산되는 제1바인더를 포함하는 제1액정패턴과;
상기 화소전극 및 상기 공통전극 상부의 상기 제2부화소에 배치되고, 제2액정분자를 포함하는 제2액정캡슐, 제2컬러수지, 상기 제2액정캡슐 및 상기 제2컬러수지가 분산되는 제2바인더를 포함하는 제2액정패턴과;

상기 제1 내지 제3부화소는 각각 적색, 녹색, 청색에 대응되고,
상기 제2액정분자의 굴절률 이방성은, 상기 제1액정분자의 굴절률 이방성보다 작고, 상기 제3액정분자의 굴절률 이방성보다 큰 액정캡슐을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 기판의 표면에는 중합된 상기 제1 내지 제3액정캡슐과 상기 제1 내지 제3컬러수지의 흡착을 위한 기판반응기가 결합되는 액정캡슐을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 캡슐반응기는 NH, OH 중 하나이고,
상기 기판반응기는 CH2=CH2, OH, -NH2 중 하나인 액정캡슐을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 기판 상부의 제1 내지 제3부화소 각각에 박막트랜지스터를 형성하는 단계와;
상기 기판 상부의 상기 제1 내지 제3부화소 각각에 서로 이격되는 화소전극 및 공통전극을 형성하는 단계와;
상기 기판을 제1액정캡슐, 제1컬러수지, 제1바인더, 광개시제를 포함하는 제1액정캡슐용액에 침지한 상태에서, 상기 제1부화소의 상기 제1액정캡슐용액에 선택적으로 자외선을 조사하여 상기 화소전극 및 상기 공통전극 상부의 상기 제1부화소에 제1액정패턴을 형성하는 단계와;
상기 기판을 제2액정캡슐, 제2컬러수지, 제2바인더, 광개시제를 포함하는 제2액정캡슐용액에 침지한 상태에서, 상기 제2부화소의 상기 제2액정캡슐용액에 선택적으로 자외선을 조사하여 상기 화소전극 및 상기 공통전극 상부의 상기 제2부화소에 제2액정패턴을 형성하는 단계와;
상기 기판을 제3액정캡슐, 제3컬러수지, 제3바인더, 광개시제를 포함하는 제3액정캡슐용액에 침지한 상태에서, 상기 제3부화소의 상기 제3액정캡슐용액에 선택적으로 자외선을 조사하여 상기 화소전극 및 상기 공통전극 상부의 상기 제3부화소에 제3액정패턴을 형성하는 단계
를 포함하는 액정캡슐을 포함하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.

상기 제1 내지 제3액정캡슐은 각각 제1 내지 제3액정분자를 포함하고,
상기 제1 내지 제3액정분자는 서로 상이한 굴절률 이방성을 갖는 액정캡슐을 포함하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.

상기 제3액정패턴을 형성하는 단계에서는, 상기 자외선의 조사에 의하여 상기 제3액정캡슐과 상기 제3컬러수지 사이에 경화반응이 발생하는 액정캡슐을 포함하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 내지 제3액정캡슐 각각의 외각에는 상기 제1 내지 제3액정캡슐과 상기 제1 내지 제3컬러수지의 중합을 위한 캡슐반응기가 결합되고,
상기 기판의 표면에는 중합된 상기 제1 내지 제3액정캡슐과 상기 제1 내지 제3컬러수지의 흡착을 위한 기판반응기가 결합되는 액정캡슐을 포함하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,
상기 캡슐반응기는 NH, OH 중 하나이고,
상기 기판반응기는 CH2=CH2, OH, -NH2 중 하나인 액정캡슐을 포함하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제1컬러수지는 상기 제1액정캡슐 외부의 상기 제1바인더에 분산되고,
상기 제2컬러수지는 상기 제2액정캡슐 외부의 상기 제2바인더에 분산되고,
상기 제3컬러수지는 상기 제3액정캡슐 외부의 상기 제3바인더에 분산되는 액정캡슐을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
