Abstract
a) 슬러리를 세라믹 섬유의 배열에 함침시키는 단계로, 슬러리가 다음의 성분들:
(i) 슬러리의 총 부피를 기준으로, 10 내지 40 부피%의 세라믹 입자들,
(ii) 하기로부터 선택되는 알코올성 유기 용매:
(ii-1) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 21 내지 35 중량%의 글리세롤,
(ii-2) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 10 내지 35 중량%의 평균 분자량이 800 g/mol 이하인 올리고 또는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜,
(ii-3) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 10 내지 35 중량%의 하나 이상의 C2-C6 알칸 디올, 및
(ii-4) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 10 내지 35 중량%의, C2-C6 알칸 디올, 평균 분자량이 800 g/mol 이하인 올리고 또는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜, 및 글리세롤로부터 선택되는, 2종 이상의 성분들의 혼합물; 및
(iii) 물;
을 포함하는, 단계;
b) 함침된 섬유 배열에서 슬러리 중의 수분 함량을 감소시켜 세라믹 매트릭스 복합체용 프리프레그를 수득하는 단계;
c) 단계 b)에 따라 수득된 하나 이상의 프리프레그들로부터 성형된 복합 재료를 제공하는 단계;
d) 수분 함량 및 알코올성 유기 용매의 함량을 감소시킴으로써 성형된 복합 재료를 통합하여 그린 바디를 수득하는 단계.
Description
Claims (65)
- 세라믹 매트릭스 복합체(ceramic matrix composite)용 그린 바디(green body)의 제조 방법으로서, 상기 방법은 하기의 단계들:
a) 슬러리를 세라믹 섬유의 배열(arrangement)에 함침시키는(impregnating) 단계로, 슬러리가 다음의 성분들:
(i) 슬러리의 총 부피를 기준으로, 10 내지 40 부피%의 세라믹 입자들,
(ii) 하기로부터 선택되는 알코올성 유기 용매:
(ii-1) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 21 내지 35 중량%의 글리세롤,
(ii-2) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 10 내지 35 중량%의 평균 분자량이 800 g/mol 이하(at most)인 올리고 또는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜,
(ii-3) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 10 내지 35 중량%의 하나 이상의 C2-C6 알칸 디올, 및
(ii-4) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 10 내지 35 중량%의, C2-C6 알칸 디올, 평균 분자량이 800 g/mol 이하인 올리고 또는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜, 및 글리세롤로부터 선택되는, 2종 이상의 성분들의 혼합물; 및
(iii) 물;
을 포함하는, 단계;
b) 함침된 섬유 배열에서 슬러리 중의 수분 함량을 감소시켜 세라믹 매트릭스 복합체용 프리프레그(prepreg)를 수득하는 단계;
c) 단계 b)에 따라 수득된 하나 이상의 프리프레그들로부터 성형된 복합 재료(composite material)를 제공하는 단계;
d) 수분 함량 및 알코올성 유기 용매의 함량을 감소시킴으로써 성형된 복합 재료를 통합하여(consolidating) 그린 바디를 수득하는 단계;
을 포함하는, 방법. - 청구항 1에 있어서, 단계 a)에서 사용되는 상기 슬러리가 다음의 성분들:
(i) 슬러리의 총 부피를 기준으로, 10 내지 40 부피%의 세라믹 입자들,
(ii) 하기로부터 선택되는 알코올성 유기 용매:
(ii-1) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 21 내지 35 중량%의 글리세롤,
(ii-2) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 21 내지 35 중량%의 평균 분자량이 800 g/mol 이하인 올리고 또는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜,
(ii-3) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 21 내지 35 중량%의 하나 이상의 C2-C6 알칸 디올, 및
(ii-4) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 21 내지 35 중량%의, C2-C6 알칸 디올, 평균 분자량이 800 g/mol 이하인 올리고 또는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜, 및 글리세롤로부터 선택되는, 2종 이상의 성분들의 혼합물; 및
(iii) 물;
을 포함하는, 방법. - 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서, 상기 알코올성 유기 용매가 글리세롤인, 방법.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서, 단계 a)에서 사용되는 상기 슬러리가 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 적어도 24 중량%의 알코올성 유기 용매를 함유하는, 방법.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서, 단계 a)에서 사용되는 상기 슬러리가 세라믹 입자들의 적어도 20 부피%를 함유하는, 방법.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서, 단계 b)에서 제공되는 프리프레그 중의 슬러리의 수분 함량은, 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 부피 분율이 프리프레그 중의 슬러리의 총 부피를 기준으로, 적어도 45 부피% 이도록 조정되는, 방법.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서, 단계 b)에서 제공되는 프리프레그 중의 슬러리의 물 분율(water fraction)이 프리프레그 중의 슬러리의 총 중량을 기준으로, 4 내지 13 중량%인, 방법.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서, 프리프레그 중의 세라믹 섬유의 부피 분율이 프리프레그의 총 부피 기준으로, 15 내지 60 부피%인, 방법.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서, 단계 b)의 수분 함량을 감소시키는 것은, 함침된 섬유 배열을 50 내지 150℃의 온도 및 10 내지 30%의 상대 습도의 조건에서 1분 내지 2시간의 기간 동안 유지하는 것을 포함하는, 방법.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서, 단계 b)의 수분 함량을 감소시키는 것은, 함침된 섬유 배열의 열수 컨디셔닝(hydrothermal conditioning)을 포함하는, 방법.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서, 단계 b) 이후에, 상기 방법이 열수 컨디셔닝에 의한 프리프레그(들)의 재-가습(re-humidification)을 포함하는, 방법.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 기재된 방법에 따른 그린 바디의 제조 단계들 및 상기 그린 바디를 소결시키는 단계를 포함하는 세라믹 매트릭스 복합체의 제조 방법.
- 슬러리가 함침된 세라믹 섬유의 배열을 포함하는 세라믹 매트릭스 복합체용 프리프레그(Prepreg)로서,
상기 슬러리는 (i) 세라믹 입자들, (ii) 알코올성 유기 용매 및 (iii) 물을 포함하고,
여기서 상기 알코올성 유기 용매가
(ii-1) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 21 내지 35 중량%의 글리세롤,
(ii-2) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 10 내지 35 중량%의 평균 분자량이 800 g/mol 이하인 올리고 또는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜,
(ii-3) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 10 내지 35 중량%의 하나 이상의 C2-C6 알칸 디올, 및
(ii-4) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 10 내지 35 중량%의, C2-C6 알칸 디올, 평균 분자량이 800 g/mol 이하인 올리고 또는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜, 및 글리세롤로부터 선택되는, 2종 이상의 성분들의 혼합물
로부터 선택되는, 프리프레그. - 청구항 13에 있어서, 상기 알코올성 유기 용매가
(ii-1) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 21 내지 35 중량%의 글리세롤,
(ii-2) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 21 내지 35 중량%의 평균 분자량이 800 g/mol 이하인 올리고 또는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜,
(ii-3) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 21 내지 35 중량%의 하나 이상의 C2-C6 알칸 디올, 및
(ii-4) 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 21 내지 35 중량%의, C2-C6 알칸 디올, 평균 분자량이 800 g/mol 이하인 올리고 또는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜, 및 글리세롤로부터 선택되는, 2종 이상의 성분들의 혼합물
로부터 선택되는, 프리프레그. - 청구항 13 또는 청구항 14에 있어서, 상기 알코올성 유기 용매가 글리세롤인, 프리프레그.
- 청구항 13 또는 청구항 14에 있어서, 상기 슬러리가 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 총 중량을 기준으로, 적어도 24 중량%의 알코올성 유기 용매를 함유하는, 프리프레그.
- 청구항 13 또는 청구항 14에 있어서, 상기 슬러리 중의 세라믹 입자들의 부피 분율이 프리프레그 중의 슬러리의 총 부피를 기준으로, 적어도 45 부피%인, 프리프레그.
- 청구항 13 또는 청구항 14에 있어서, 슬러리의 물 분율이 프리프레그 중의 슬러리의 총 중량을 기준으로, 4 내지 13 중량%인, 프리프레그.
- 청구항 13 또는 청구항 14에 기재된 하나 이상의 프리프레그들을 포함하는 성형된 복합 재료(Shaped composite material)로서, 상기 복합 재료가 청구항 13 또는 청구항 14에 기재된 2개 이상의 프리프레그들의 라미네이트인, 성형된 복합 재료.
