Abstract
따라서, 현재 블록의 좌측 및 상측 블록의 유효한 인트라 예측 모드에 따라 현재 블록의 인트라 예측 모드와 동일할 가능성이 높은 모드들을 제1 그룹에 포함시키고, 상기 제1 그룹을 이용하여 현재 블록의 부호화할 인트라 예측 모드 그룹 지시자와 예측모드 인덱스를 결정함으로써, 부호화할 인트라 예측 모드의 정보량을 줄일 수 있다. 또한, 상기 현재 블록과 유사한 예측 블록을 생성함으로써, 부호화/복호화할 잔차 블록의 비트수를 줄임으로써, 부호화 및 복호화 효율을 높일 수 있다.

도 3은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 동영상 복호화 장치에서의 인트라 예측 블록을 생성하는 방법에 대해 설명한다.

Claims (1)
- 현재 블록의 인트라 예측모드 그룹 지시자 및 예측모드 인덱스를 복원하는 단계;
상기 현재 블록의 좌측 및 상측 블록의 유효한 인트라 예측모드를 이용하여 MPM 그룹을 나타내는 제1 그룹을 구성하는 단계;
상기 인트라 예측모드 그룹지시자가 제1 그룹을 나타내면, 상기 제1 그룹에서 상기 예측모드 인덱스에 대응하는 인트라 예측모드를 현재 블록의 인트라 예측모드로 결정하고, 상기 인트라 예측모드 그룹지시자가 제2 그룹을 나타내면, 상기 제2 그룹에서 상기 예측모드 인덱스에 대응하는 인트라 예측모드를 현재 블록의 인트라 예측모드로 결정하는 단계로서, 상기 제2 그룹은 MPM 이외의 나머지 예측 인트라 모드 그룹을 나타냄; 및
상기 결정된 현재 블록의 인트라 예측모드에 따라 예측블록을 생성하는 단계를 포함하고,
상기 예측블록의 크기는 변환 크기 정보에 따라 결정되고,
인트라 예측모드들 중 플래너 모드(Planar mode)에 0의 모드 번호가 부여되고, DC 모드에 1의 모드 번호가 부여되고,
상기 현재 블록의 좌측 및 상측 블록의 인트라 예측모드가 모두 유효하고 서로 동일하지 않은 경우, 상기 제1 그룹은 상기 좌측 및 상측 블록의 인트라 예측모드들을 포함하고, 상기 좌측 및 상측 블록의 인트라 예측모드에 기초하여 결정되는 1개의 인트라 예측모드가 상기 제1 그룹에 추가되고,
상기 좌측 및 상측 블록의 인트라 예측모드들이 모두 플래너 모드가 아닌 경우, 상기 추가되는 인트라 예측모드는 플래너 모드이고,
상기 현재 블록의 인트라 예측 모드가 DC 모드인 경우 상기 현재 블록의 참조화소들에 필터링이 수행되지 않고,
상기 현재 블록의 상측 및 좌측 블록의 인트라 예측모드 중 하나만이 유효한 경우, 2개의 인트라 예측모드가 상기 제1 그룹에 추가되고,
상기 현재 블록의 크기가 상기 예측블록의 크기보다 큰 경우, 상기 현재 블록에 포함되는 복수개의 예측 블록은 상기 현재 블록의 인트라 예측모드를 이용하여 생성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 복호화 방법.
