상기 Meox2 억제제는 서열번호 1로 표시되는 염기서열로 이루어진 작은 간섭 RNA(small interfering RNA; siRNA)인 것을 특징으로 하는 건강식품 조성물. - 구강질환이 의심되는 대상체로부터 분리된 시료에 시험물질을 처리하는 제 1단계;
상기 시험물질이 처리된 시료에서 Meox2 유전자의 mRNA 발현 수준 또는 Meox2 단백질의 발현 수준을 측정하는 제 2단계; 및
대조군 시료와 비교하여 상기 Meox2 유전자의 mRNA 발현 수준 또는 Meox2 단백질의 발현 수준을 감소시키는 시험물질을 선별하는 제 3단계;
를 포함하는 치주염 치료제 스크리닝 방법.
