Claims (10)
- 복수의 주사선들 및 발광제어선들을 통해 주사신호 및 발광제어신호들을 인가하는 주사 구동부;
복수의 데이터선들을 통해 데이터 신호들을 인가하는 데이터 구동부;
복수의 전원공급 인입부들을 통해 전원을 인가하는 전원 공급부;
상기 주사신호들, 발광제어신호들, 데이터 신호들 및 전원을 인가받아 영상을 표시하는 복수의 화소들을 포함하며, 상기 전원공급 인입부들에 대응되도록 복수의 분할 영역들로 구획되는 화소부; 및
영상 신호의 계조 데이터에 기초하여 상기 분할 영역들에 인가되는 영역별 전류값을 산출하고, 상기 영역별 전류값들 중 적어도 하나가 기준치 이상인 경우, 상기 화소부의 휘도를 제한하도록 상기 계조 데이터를 보정하는 전류 제한 회로를 포함하되,
상기 전원공급 인입부들은 상기 화소부의 일 측부에 위치하고,
상기 전원공급 인입부들 중 최 외곽에 위치한 일 전원공급 인입부의 저항값이 가장 큰 값을 갖는 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 전류 제한 회로는,
상기 계조 데이터를 데이터 전류값으로 변환하는 변환부;
상기 데이터 전류값을 기설정된 영역별 전류 분포 비율에 따라 나누고, 한 프레임 동안의 데이터 전류값들을 누적하여 영역별 전류값들을 산출하는 연산부; 및
상기 영역별 전류값들이 기준 범위 이내인지 여부를 판단하는 비교부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치. - 제2 항에 있어서, 상기 전류 제한 회로는,
상기 계조 데이터를 보정 계수에 따라 보정하는 보정부; 및
상기 비교부의 판단여부에 따라 상기 보정 계수의 크기를 조정하는 보정 계수 조정부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치. - 제3 항에 있어서, 상기 보정 계수 조정부는,
영역별 전류값들 중 최대치가 상기 기준 범위의 상한치 이상인 경우, 상기 보정 계수를 감소시키고,
영역별 전류값들 중 최대치가 상기 기준 범위의 하한치 이상인 경우, 상기 보정 계수를 증가시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치. - 제4 항에 있어서,
상기 보정 계수는 0 ~ 1 사이의 값임을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 전류 제한 회로는 상기 화소부의 휘도를 제한하는 제어 신호를 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치. - 제6 항에 있어서,
상기 제어 신호는 상기 데이터 구동부로 출력되는 데이터 제어 신호 또는 상기 주사 구동부로 출력되는 주사 제어 신호를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치. - 제7 항에 있어서,
상기 데이터 구동부는 상기 데이터 제어신호에 따라 선택한 계조 전압을 데이터 신호로서 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치. - 제7 항에 있어서,
상기 주사 구동부는 상기 주사 제어신호에 따라 상기 발광제어신호들의 펄스 폭을 조절하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 전원공급 인입부들은 상기 화소부 외곽의 상, 하 또는 좌, 우 또는 상, 하, 좌, 우에 배치됨을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
