Claims (25)
- 반응기, 1차 컴프레서, 및 2차 컴프레서를 포함하는 고압 폴리에틸렌 중합 시스템으로서, 상기 2차 컴프레서가
a. 2개 이상의 실린더를 포함하는 제1 단으로서, 상기 2개 이상의 실린더의 배출관이 제1 단 배출 크로스-커넥트 관에 의해 유체 연결되는 제1 단;
b. 제2 단;
c. 중간단; 및
d. 제1 단 배출관 크로스-커넥트의 하류 10 미터 이내의 위치에서 중간단 배관에 적용되는 제1 냉각기
를 포함하는 고압 폴리에틸렌 중합 시스템. - 제1항에 있어서, 제1 단은 4개 이상의 실린더를 포함하고, 상기 4개 이상의 실린더의 배출관은 제1 단 배출관 크로스-커넥트에 의해 유체 연결되는 것인 시스템.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 제1 냉각기는 제1 단 배출관 크로스-커넥트의 바로 하류의 위치에 적용되는 것인 시스템.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 제1 냉각기는 냉각 재킷 또는 열교환기인 시스템.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 제2 단은 2개 이상의 실린더를 포함하고, 상기 2개 이상의 실린더의 흡입관은 제2 단 흡입 크로스-커넥트 관에 의해 유체 연결되는 것인 시스템.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 제2 단은 4개 이상의 실린더를 포함하고, 상기 4개 이상의 실린더의 흡입관은 제2 단 흡입 크로스-커넥트 관에 의해 유체 연결되는 것인 시스템.

- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 제2 단은 2개 이상의 실린더를 포함하고, 상기 제2 단의 2개 이상의 실린더의 배출관은 제2 단 배출 크로스-커넥트 관에 의해 유체 연결되는 것인 시스템.

- 제9항에 있어서, 제2 냉각기가 제2 단 배출관 크로스-커넥트의 바로 하류의 위치에서 중간단 배관에 적용되는 것인 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서, 제2 냉각기는 냉각 재킷 또는 열교환기인 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서, 제2 냉각기는 냉각 재킷이고, 상기 냉각 재킷은 반응기 입구의 상류 10 미터 이내의 위치에서 끝나는 것인 시스템.
- a. 에틸렌을 포함하는 공급물 스트림을 제공하는 단계;
b. 1차 컴프레서에서 상기 공급물 스트림을 압축하는 단계;
c. 2차 컴프레서에서 상기 공급물 스트림을 더 압축하는 단계로서, 상기 2차 컴프레서는 제1 단 및 제2 단을 포함하고, 상기 제1 단은 2개 이상의 실린더를 포함하며, 상기 2개 이상의 실린더의 배출관은 제1 단 배출 크로스-커넥트 관에 의해 유체 연결되는 단계;
d. 상기 압축된 공급물 스트림을, 제1 단 배출관 크로스-커넥트의 하류 10 미터 이내의 위치에서 냉각하는 단계; 및
e. 상기 압축된 공급물 스트림을 중합 반응기로 공급하는 단계
를 포함하는 고압 폴리에틸렌 중합 방법.
