Abstract
본 방법은 분리가 쉽지 않은 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리 효과를 획기적으로 증진시키면서도 추출제의 사용량을 절감하고, 추가적인 지르코늄 회수공정을 통해 지르코늄 회수율을 97% 이상으로 높이는 한편, 지르코늄 중의 하프늄 함량을 50 ppm 이하로 낮출 수 있다.

Claims (10)
- 지르코늄, 하프늄 및 황산을 포함하는 수용액인 원액과 산성추출제를 포함하는 제1교반액을 교반하여 상기 하프늄이 상기 산성추출제로 추출된 1차추출액을 제조하는 추출단계; 그리고
상기 1차추출액과 구연산용액을 포함하는 제2교반액을 교반하여 1차추출액으로부터 구연산용액으로 지르코늄이 역추출된 추출후구연산용액을 제조하여 1차추출액에 포함된 지르코늄을 회수하는 회수단계;를 포함하고,
상기 산성추출제는 D2EHPA(Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid), PC88A(2-Ethylhexyl phosphonic acid mono-2-ethylhexyl ester) 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 어느 하나를 포함하는 것인, 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리방법은 상기 회수단계 이후에 탈거단계를 더 포함하고,
상기 탈거단계는, 상기 회수단계를 거친 1차추출액인 2차추출액과 탈거액을 포함하는 제3교반액을 혼합하여 상기 2차추출액에 포함되는 지르코늄과 하프늄을 제거하는 과정을 포함하는 것인, 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리방법. - 제2항에 있어서,
상기 탈거액은 옥살산을 포함하는 것인, 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리방법. - 제3항에 있어서,
상기 탈거액은 옥살산의 농도가 0.1 내지 1 mol/l인 옥살산 수용액인, 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 원액은 상기 황산을 2 내지 10 mol/l로 포함하는 것인, 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 구연산용액은 구연산의 농도가 0.05 내지 0.2 mol/l인 구연산 수용액인, 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 산성추출제는 유기용매인 희석제를 더 포함하는 것인, 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리방법. - 제2항에 있어서,
상기 탈거단계를 거친 2차추출액은 상기 추출단계의 산성추출제로 재사용되는 것인, 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리방법은 시안화합물을 사용하지 않는 것인, 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리방법에 의하여 회수된 지르코늄의 회수율이 97 중량% 이상이고, 회수된 지르코늄에 포함되는 하프늄의 함량은 50 ppm 이하인 것인, 지르코늄과 하프늄의 분리방법.
