Description
Claims (11)
- 온도에 의존하여 저항이 변화하는 가변 저항 소자를 포함하는 과열 방지 디바이스로서,전기 시스템을 통해 흐르는 전류를, 자신에게 가해지는 전압에 의존하여 제어하는 스위칭 소자; 및저항 R을 갖는 저항기를 더 포함하고,상기 가변 저항 소자는 상기 전기 시스템의 소정의 개소에 열적으로 결합하여 배치되며 또한 상기 소정의 개소가 고온 상태로 되었을 때에 상기 스위칭 소자에게 가해지는 전압을 변화시켜 상기 전기 시스템에 흐르는 전류를 차단하고, 상기 가변 저항 소자는 고온 상태의 저항 PH 및 저온 상태의 저항 PL을 갖는 폴리머(polymer) PTC 소자이고, 상기 가변 저항 소자의 저항과 상기 저항기의 저항의 관계는 R/PL>10 및 R/PH<1/10인 과열 방지 디바이스.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전기 시스템은 2차 전지를 포함하고, 상기 가변 저항 소자는 상기 2차 전지에 열적으로 결합하여 배치되는 과열 방지 디바이스.
- 삭제
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,가변 저항 소자는 서로 직렬로 전기 접속된 복수의 가변 저항 소자로 구성되는 과열 방지 디바이스.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 가변 저항 소자 및 상기 저항기는 상호 직렬로 또한 상기 전기 시스템에게 병렬로 전기 접속되며,상기 스위칭 소자는 상기 저항기에게 병렬로 전기 접속되어 있는 과열 방지 디바이스.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 스위칭 소자가 전계 효과 트랜지스터(FET)이며,상기 FET의 게이트가 상기 가변 저항 소자와 상기 저항기의 일단 사이에 전기 접속되고,상기 FET의 소스가 상기 저항기의 타단에 전기 접속되며,상기 FET의 소스 및 드레인이 상기 전기 시스템을 포함하는 전기 회로의 일부를 구성하도록 전기 접속되고,상기 FET의 게이트-소스간 전압이 임계값 이하로 되었을 때에 상기 FET의 소스-드레인간에 전류가 실질적으로 흐르지 않게 됨으로써, 상기 전기 시스템을 통해 흐르는 전류가 차단되도록 하는 과열 방지 디바이스.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 디바이스는, 상기 전기 시스템에서의 과전류를 방지하기 위해, 온도에 의존하여 저항이 변화하는 또 다른 가변 저항 소자를 더 포함하는 과열 방지 디바이스.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 또 다른 가변 저항 소자가 PTC 소자인 과열 방지 디바이스.
- 제1항 또는 제2항의 과열 방지 디바이스를 구비하는 전기 시스템.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 전기 시스템은 전기적 요소와 전기 접속되어 전기 회로를 형성하는 2차 전지를 포함하고, 상기 과열 방지 디바이스는 상기 2차 전지와 상기 전기적 요소 사이에 병렬로 접속되는 전기 시스템.
