Claims (30)
- 유리 튜브 또는 유리 막대를 생산하기 위한 맨드릴(mandrel)(42)로서,백금 그룹 재료로 제조된 자체-지지 금속 재료 재킷(22)을 포함하며,상기 맨드릴(42)은 길이방향축(X)을 따라서 축 방향으로 대칭이며, 상기 축 주위로 맨드릴을 회전시키기 위해 구성된 고정 베어링을 전방단부에 구비하고 플로팅 베어링을 후방단부에 구비하며, 상기 맨드릴(42)은 가스를 송풍하기 위한 내부채널을 제공하며 유리튜브의 내부면을 적어도 하나의 가스로 처리하도록 하는 맨드릴.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 자체-지지 금속 재킷(22)은 외벽 및 내부 자체-지지 구조물을 포함하는 맨드릴.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 내부 자체-지지 구조물은 적어도 하나의 지지 스트럿(strut)을 포함하는 맨드릴.
