Claims (10)
- 송신 노드와 수신 노드 사이에서 적어도 하나의 통신 경로를 제공하는 무선 시스템에서의 통신 방법에 있어서,상기 송신 노드의 송신기가 상기 송신 노드로부터 송신된 데이터 패킷의 시퀀스 내의 적어도 하나의 데이터 패킷에 대해 상기 수신 노드의 수신기에서 발생하는 지연 상태(stalling condition)의 확률을 결정하는 단계와,상기 송신기가 상기 지연 상태의 상기 결정된 확률에 기초하여, 상기 지연 상태를 종료하도록 동작하는 플러쉬 코맨드(flush command)를 상기 수신기로 송신하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 지연 상태의 확률은 상기 무선 시스템에 대해 상기 송신기에서 결정될 수 있는 적어도 하나의 시스템 파라미터의 상태와 관련하여 결정되는통신 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 송신 노드의 상기 송신기가 상기 플러쉬 코맨드를 송신하기 전에, 상기 지연 상태의 상기 결정된 확률의 함수로서, 대기 시간을 추정하는 단계를 포함하는통신 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 대기 시간을 추정하는 단계는,송신 이전에 적어도 제 1 데이터 패킷에 대한 시간 슬롯의 평균 갯수를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는통신 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,대기하는 시간 슬롯의 평균 갯수를 결정하는 단계는,송신을 위해 적어도 상기 제 1 데이터 패킷을 큐잉(queing)하는 단계와,상기 제 1 데이터 패킷보다 낮은 순차적 지정자(designation)를 갖는 제 2 데이터 패킷이 지연되었는지를 판정하는 단계를 포함하는통신 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 플러쉬 코맨드를 송신하는 단계는,상기 제 2 데이터 패킷이 지연되었다는 결정에 응답하여, 상기 제 1 데이터 패킷을 송신하는 단계를 포함하는통신 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 데이터 패킷을 송신하는 단계는,상기 제 2 데이터 패킷이 특정 메모리 위치로 지정되었는지를 판정하는 단계를 포함하되,상기 특정 메모리 위치는 유한 버퍼의 일단부에 존재하는통신 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 송신 노드의 상기 송신기가 상기 지연 상태의 상기 결정된 확률에 응답하여 서비스 타임아웃 조건(service time-out condition)에 대한 권고 범위를 송신하는 단계를 포함하되,상기 서비스 타임아웃 조건은 고속 다운링크 패킷 액세스 서비스 및 고속 업링크 패킷 액세스 서비스 중 적어도 하나에 대응하는통신 방법.
