Abstract
Description
Claims (4)
- 충전 전류 또는 방전 전류가 흐르는 회로 경로 상에 접속된 퓨즈 및 센스 저항과, 상기 퓨즈를 제어하는 퓨즈 제어 스위치를 포함하는 배터리 팩 보호 장치에 있어서,한 단은 상기 센스 저항에 접속되고 다른 단은 상기 퓨즈 제어 스위치에 접속되어, 상기 센스 저항 양단에 미리 정해진 값 이상의 전압이 인가되는 경우, 전류가 상기 퓨즈 제어 스위치 측으로 흐르게 함으로써, 상기 퓨즈 제어 스위치를 턴온시켜 상기 퓨즈가 융단되도록 하는 쇼트키 다이오드(schottky diode)를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 팩 보호 장치.

- 제1항에 따른 배터리 팩 보호 장치를 포함하는 배터리 팩.
- 충전 또는 방전 전류가 흐르는 회로 경로 상에 접속된 퓨즈 및 센스 저항과, 상기 퓨즈를 제어하는 퓨즈 제어 스위치, 및 상기 센스 저항과 상기 퓨즈 제어 스위치 사이에 연결되는 쇼트키 다이오드를 포함하는 배터리 팩을 보호하는 방법에 있어서,(S1) 상기 센스 저항 양단에 미리 정해진 값 이상의 전압이 인가되면, 상기 쇼트키 다이오드를 통해 전류가 퓨즈 제어 스위치 측으로 흐르는 단계;(S2) 상기 전류의 흐름으로 인해 상기 퓨즈 제어 스위치가 턴온(turn-on)되어 상기 퓨즈를 융단시키는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 팩 보호 방법.
