Claims (9)
- 대향하는 제1의 기판과 제2의 기판에 액정층이 끼워지고, 매트릭스 모양으로 배열된 화소 내에 투과 영역과 반사 영역을 갖고,상기 제1의 기판에, 상기 액정층에 전압을 인가하는 화소전극과 공통 전극이 설치된 횡전계 방식의 액정표시장치로서,상기 제1의 기판에 있어서의 상기 액정층의 반대측의 면에는, 상기 제1의 기판측에서 순서대로 λ/2의 위상차판, λ/4의 위상차판, 편광판을 구비하고,상기 제2의 기판에 있어서의 상기 액정층의 반대측의 면에는, 상기 제2의 기판측에서 순서대로 λ/4의 위상차판, 편광판이 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 대향하는 제1의 기판과 제2의 기판에 액정층이 끼워지고, 매트릭스 모양으로 배열된 화소 내에 투과 영역과 반사 영역을 갖고,상기 제1의 기판에, 상기 액정층에 전압을 인가하는 화소전극과 공통 전극이 설치된 횡전계 방식의 액정표시장치로서,상기 제1의 기판에 있어서의 상기 액정층의 반대측의 면에는, 상기 제1의 기판측에서 순서대로 λ/2의 위상차판, λ/2의 위상차판, λ/4의 위상차판, 편광판을 구비하고,상기 제2의 기판에 있어서의 상기 액정층의 반대측의 면에는, 상기 제2의 기판측에서 순서대로 λ/2의 위상차판, λ/4의 위상차판, 편광판이 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 제2의 기판에 있어서의 상기 액정층의 반대측에 있어서, 상기 λ/4의 위상차판 보다도 상기 액정층 측에 확산 점착재를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제2의 기판에 설치된 상기 편광판 위에 반사방지막이 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 제2의 기판에 설치된 상기 편광판 위에 반사방지막이 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 3항에 있어서,상기 제2의 기판에 설치된 상기 편광판 위에 반사방지막이 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,위상차판 면내의 위상 지연축 방위의 굴절률을 nx, 위상차판 면내에 있어서 nx와 직교하는 방위의 굴절률을 ny, 위상차판의 수직방향의 굴절률을 nz로 한 경우에, Nz 계수는 Nz=(nx-nz/(nx-ny)로 정의되고, 0 내지 0.8의 범위를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,위상차판 면내의 위상 지연축 방위의 굴절률을 nx, 위상차판 면내에 있어서 nx와 직교하는 방위의 굴절률을 ny, 위상차판의 수직방향의 굴절률을 nz로 한 경우에, Nz 계수는 Nz=(nx-nz/(nx-ny)로 정의되고, 0 내지 0.8의 범위를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
