Claims (19)
- 액세스 네트워크로서,복수의 다중 액세스 전송 모드들로부터 하나의 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 선택하고, 상기 선택된 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 표시하는 신호를 복수의 액세스 터미널들 중 적어도 하나에 브로드캐스팅하고, 상기 선택된 전송 모드에서 상기 액세스 터미널들 중 하나로부터의 데이터 전송을 하나의 시간 간격으로 스케줄링하도록 구성된 스케줄러를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 네트워크.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 다중 액세스 전송 모드들은,데이터가 상기 시간 간격 동안 코드-분할-다중화되는 다중 액세스 전송 모드; 및데이터가 상기 시간 간격의 제 1 부분 동안 코드-분할-다중화되고, 데이터가 상기 시간 간격의 제 2 부분 동안 시간-분할-다중화되거나 또는 직교-주파수-분할-다중화되는 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 네트워크.
- 복수의 다중 액세스 전송 모드들 각각에서 데이터를 전송하도록 동작가능한 액세스 터미널로서,모드 선택 유니트, 수신기 및 송신기를 포함하며, 상기 액세스 터미널은 하나의 시간 간격 동안 상기 복수의 전송 모드들 중 하나의 선택을 표시하는 신호를 수신하고, 상기 시간 간격 동안 상기 선택된 다중 액세스 전송 모드에서 데이터를 전송하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 터미널.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 다중 액세스 전송 모드들은,데이터가 상기 시간 간격 동안 코드-분할-다중화되는 다중 액세스 전송 모드; 및데이터가 상기 시간 간격의 제 1 부분 동안 코드-분할-다중화되고, 데이터가 상기 시간 간격의 제 2 부분 동안 시간-분할-다중화되거나 또는 직교-주파수-분할-다중화되는 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 터미널.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 액세스 터미널은 하나의 시간 간격에서 데이터를 전송하기 위한 요청을 액세스 네트워크로 전송하고, 상기 요청에 따라 상기 시간 간격에서 데이터를 전송하기 위한 허가를 상기 액세스 네트워크로부터 수신하도록 추가적으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 터미널.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 액세스 터미널은 액세스 네트워크로부터 상기 신호를 수신하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 터미널.
- 데이터를 전송하는 방법으로서,복수의 다중 액세스 전송 모드들로부터 하나의 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 선택하는 단계;상기 선택된 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 표시하는 신호를 복수의 액세스 터미널들 중 적어도 하나로 브로드캐스팅하는 단계; 및상기 복수의 액세스 터미널들 중 하나로부터의 데이터 전송을 하나의 시간 간격으로 스케줄링하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 다중 액세스 전송 모드들은,데이터가 상기 시간 간격 동안 코드-분할-다중화되는 다중 액세스 전송 모드; 및데이터가 상기 시간 간격의 제 1 부분 동안 코드-분할-다중화되고, 데이터가 상기 시간 간격의 제 2 부분 동안 시간-분할-다중화되거나 또는 직교-주파수-분할-다중화되는 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 데이터를 전송하는 방법으로서,액세스 터미널에서, 액세스 네트워크로부터 복수의 다중 액세스 전송 모드들로부터 선택된 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 나타내는 신호를 수신하는 단계; 및상기 액세스 터미널로부터 상기 액세스 네트워크로 하나의 시간 간격 동안 상기 선택된 다중 액세스 전송 모드에서 데이터를 전송하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 다중 액세스 전송 모드들은,데이터가 상기 시간 간격 동안 코드-분할-다중화되는 다중 액세스 전송 모드; 및데이터가 상기 시간 간격의 제 1 부분 동안 코드-분할-다중화되고, 데이터가 상기 시간 간격의 제 2 부분 동안 시간-분할-다중화되거나 또는 직교-주파수-분할-다중화되는 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.

- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 시간 간격에서 데이터를 액세스 네트워크로 전송하기 위한 요청을 전송하는 단계; 및상기 요청에 따라 상기 시간 간격에서 데이터를 전송하기 위한 허락을 상기 액세스 네트워크로부터 수신하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,상기 요청을 전송하는 단계는 각각의 액세스 터미널에서 상기 시간 간격에 대한 기회 레벨을 결정하는 단계 및 상기 기회 레벨을 전송하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 액세스 터미널은 상기 시간 간격의 제 1 부분 동안 지연에 민감한(delay-sensitive) 데이터를 전송하고 상기 시간 간격의 제 2 부분 동안 지연에 관대한(delay-tolerant) 데이터를 전송하도록 동작가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 터미널.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 액세스 터미널은 상기 시간 간격의 제 1 부분에서 코드 분할 다중화된 오버헤드 채널들을 전송하고 상기 시간 간격의 제 2 부분에서 시간 분할 다중화된 데이터를 전송하도록 동작가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 터미널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 스케줄러는 적어도 하나의 액세스 터미널에 대한 각각의 서브프레임에 대하여 상이한 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 선택하고 할당하도록 동작가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 네트워크.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 스케줄러는 역방향 링크 전송을 위한 데이터를 생성하는 액세스 터미널에 있는 애플리케이션에 기반하여 상기 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 선택하도록 동작가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 액세스 네트워크.
- 컴퓨터-판독가능 매체로서,액세스 터미널에서, 액세스 네트워크로부터 복수의 다중 액세스 전송 모드들로부터 선택된 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 나타내는 신호를 수신하기 위한 코드; 및상기 액세스 터미널로부터 상기 액세스 네트워크로 하나의 시간 간격 동안 상기 선택된 다중 액세스 전송 모드에서 데이터를 전송하기 위한 코드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터-판독가능 매체.
- 컴퓨터-판독가능 매체로서,복수의 다중 액세스 전송 모드들로부터 하나의 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 선택하기 위한 코드;상기 선택된 다중 액세스 전송 모드를 표시하는 신호를 복수의 액세스 터미널들 중 적어도 하나로 브로드캐스팅하기 위한 코드; 및상기 복수의 액세스 터미널들 중 하나로부터의 데이터 전송을 하나의 시간 간격으로 스케줄링하기 위한 코드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터-판독가능 매체.
