Claims (8)
- 평균 입경이 2㎛ 이하인 소결 다이아몬드 입자와, 잔부의 결합상을 구비한 고강도·고내마모성 다이아몬드 소결체로서,상기 다이아몬드 소결체 중의 상기 소결 다이아몬드 입자의 함유율은 80체적% 이상 98체적% 이하이고,상기 결합상 중의 함유율이 0.5질량% 이상 50질량% 미만인 티타늄, 지르코늄, 하프늄, 바나듐, 니오븀, 탄탈륨, 크롬, 및 몰리브덴으로 이루어지는 군에서 선택되는 적어도 1 종 이상의 원소와, 상기 결합상 중의 함유율이 50질량% 이상 99.5질량% 미만인 코발트를 상기 결합상은 포함하며,상기 티타늄, 지르코늄, 하프늄, 바나듐, 니오븀, 탄탈륨, 크롬, 및 몰리브덴으로 이루어지는 군에서 선택되는 적어도 1 종 이상의 원소의 일부 또는 전부가 평균 입경 0.8㎛ 이하인 탄화물 입자로서 존재하며,상기 탄화물 입자의 조직은 불연속이고,인접하는 상기 다이아몬드 입자끼리는 서로 결합하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는, 고강도·고내마모성 다이아몬드 소결체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 티타늄, 지르코늄, 하프늄, 바나듐, 니오븀, 탄탈륨, 크롬, 및 몰리브덴으로 이루어지는 군에서 선택되는 적어도 1 종 이상의 원소는 티타늄이고, 상기 결합상 중의 상기 티타늄의 함유율이 0.5질량% 이상 20질량% 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는, 고강도·고내마모성 다이아몬드 소결체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 다이아몬드 소결체로부터, 길이 6㎜, 폭 3㎜, 두께 0.4㎜ 이상 0.45㎜ 이하인 직사각형의 평면 형상으로 잘라낸 시험편을 사용하여 4㎜ 스팬 (span) 의 조건에서 측정되는 항절력 (transverse rupture strength) 이 2.65GPa 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는, 고강도·고내마모성 다이아몬드 소결체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 다이아몬드 소결체로부터, 길이 6㎜, 폭 3㎜, 두께 0.4 이상 0.45㎜ 이하인 직사각형의 평면 형상으로 잘라낸 시험편을, 밀폐 용기 속에서, 농도 60% 이상 65% 미만인 질산을 2 배 희석한 것 40㎖ 와, 농도 45 ∼ 50% 인 불화수소산 10㎖ 를 혼합한 불질산에 의해, 120℃ 이상 150℃ 미만에서 3 시간의 용해 처리를 실시한 뒤, 이 시험편을 사용하여 4㎜ 스팬의 조건에서 측정되는 항절력이 1.86GPa 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는, 고강도·고내마모성 다이아몬드 소결체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 티타늄, 지르코늄, 하프늄, 바나듐, 니오븀, 탄탈륨, 크롬, 및 몰리브덴으로 이루어지는 군에서 선택되는 적어도 1 종 이상의 원소는 티타늄이고, 또한 상기 결합상 중의 상기 티타늄의 함유율은 0.5질량% 이상 20질량% 미만이며, 전자선의 가속 속도 40㎸, 전류 25㎃ 회절 각도 2θ = 20 ∼ 80°, 주사 속도 0.1℃/초의 조건에서 측정한 상기 다이아몬드 소결체의 X 선 회절 도형에 있어서, 탄화티타늄의 (200) 회절선이 다이아몬드의 (111) 회절선의 3% 이상 50% 미만의 강도비인 것을 특징으로 하는 고강도·고내마모성 다이아몬드 소결체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 다이아몬드 소결체는 0.001질량% 이상 0.15질량% 미만의 산소를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고강도·고내마모성 다이아몬드 소결체.
- 제 1 항에 기재된 고강도·고내마모성 다이아몬드 소결체의 제조방법으로서, 벨트형 초고압 장치를 사용하여 압력 5.7GPa 이상 7.5 GPa 이하, 온도 1400℃ 이상 1900℃ 이하의 조건에서 소결하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고강도·고내마모성 다이아몬드 소결체의 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,벨트형 초고압 장치를 사용하여 압력 6.0GPa 이상 7.2GPa 이하, 온도 1400℃ 이상 1900℃ 이하의 조건에서 소결하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고강도·고내마모성 다이아몬드 소결체의 제조방법.
