Claims (9)
- 동기식 이더넷 브리지의 서비스 품질 보장 장치에 있어서,들어오는(ingress) 패킷의 DSCP(Differentiated Service Code Point)의 PHB(Per-Hop Behavior) 값에 따라 미리 설정된 동기 패킷의 큐 또는 비동기 패킷의 큐에 분류하여 버퍼링하는 분류자와;가장 높은 우선순위를 갖는 큐를 비롯하여 우선순위에 따라 다수의 큐로 구성되며 상기 분류자에 의해 분류된 패킷을 각각 버퍼링하는 버퍼 큐와;상기 버퍼 큐의 다수의 큐에 버퍼링된 각각의 패킷에 동기 패킷임을 마킹하거나 또는 비동기 패킷인 경우에 우선순위에 따라 미리 설정된 포맷으로 마킹하는 마커와;상기 마커에 의해 마킹된 패킷들을 스케줄링하여 내보내는(egress) 동기식 이더넷 스케줄러를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 품질 보장 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 분류자는 상기 DSCP의 PHB 값이 EF(Expedited Forwarding)인 경우 해당 패킷을 동기 패킷으로 분류함을 특징으로 하는 품질 보장 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 분류자는 상기 DSCP 값이 CS(Class Selector)인 경우에도 높은 우선순위일 경우에 해당 패킷을 동기 패킷으로 분류함을 특징으로 하는 품질 보장 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 마커에서 상기 동기 패킷임을 마킹하는 것은 MAC(Media Access Control) 헤더의 E 타입(Etype)을 "0x3305"로 변환하는 것임을 특징으로 하는 품질 보장 장치.
- 동기식 이더넷 시스템의 서비스 품질 보장 방법에 있어서,들어오는(ingress) 패킷의 DSCP(Differentiated Service Code Point)의 PHB(Per-Hop Behavior) 값에 따라 동기 패킷을 비동기 패킷과 분류하여 미리 설정된 가장 높은 우선순위를 갖는 큐에 버퍼링하는 과정과,상기 가장 높은 우선순위를 갖는 큐에 버퍼링된 패킷을 동기 패킷으로 마킹하는 과정과,상기 동기 패킷으로 마킹된 패킷을 포함한 패킷들을 스케줄링하여 내보내는(egress)하는 과정을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 품질 보장 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 동기 패킷의 분류는 상기 DSCP의 PHB 값이 EF(Expedited Forwarding)인 경우 해당 패킷을 동기 패킷으로 분류함을 특징으로 하는 품질 보장 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 동기 패킷의 분류시 비동기 패킷은 상기 DSCP의 PHB 값이 AF(Assured Forwarding)인 경우와 최선형(Best-Effort) 패킷의 경우에 비동기 패킷으로 처리하며,상기 비동기 패킷은 IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) 802.1p/q의 VLAN(Virtual Local Area Network) 태그(Tag)에 명시하는 8개의 우선순위를 이용하여 처리함을 특징으로 하는 품질 보장 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 동기 패킷의 분류는 상기 DSCP 값이 CS(Class Selector)인 경우에도 높은 우선순위일 경우에 해당 패킷을 동기 패킷으로 분류함을 특징으로 하는 품질 보장 방법.
- 제5항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 동기 패킷임을 마킹하는 것은 MAC(Media Access Control) 헤더의 E 타입(Etype)을 "0x3305"로 변환하는 것임을 특징으로 하는 품질 보장 방법.
