Claims (5)
- 하기 반응 (1)에 따라, 에탄올을 이용한 락트산(또는 락트산 조성물)의 에스테르화에 의한 에틸 락테이트 (Ⅰ)의 연속 제조 방법으로서:약 100 ℃에 놓인 반응 매질의 환류하, 촉매의 존재하 및 1.5 내지 3 바 범위의 절대 압력하에서, 2.5 이상의 에탄올/락트산 초기 몰비율에 따라 상기 락트산을 에탄올과 반응시키는 공정으로 이루어지며; 상기 방법은, 공비혼합물에 가까운 물/에탄올 기체 혼합물을 에스테르화 반응 매질로부터 연속 추출하는 것, 그 후 상기 기체 혼합물을 분자체(molecular sieve)를 이용하여 직접 탈수하는 것, 에스테르화 반응 매질로 재순환될 수 있는 에탄올 기체 스트림, 및 물과 에탄올로 이루어진 스트림을 상기 탈수 단계로부터 회수하고, 상기 물과 에탄올로 이루어진 스트림을 증류시키고, 그로부터 물 및 물/에탄올 공비혼합물을 수득하며, 물/에탄올 공비혼합물을, 에스테르화 반응 매질로부터 추출된 기체 혼합물의 증류를 위한 칼럼의 상부에 주입하는 것, 및 이어서 조 에틸 락테이트를 연속 추출하고, 상기 조 에틸 락테이트를 분별 증류에 의해 정제하고, 그로부터, 고순도의 에틸 락테이트 및 중생성물(heavy product)을 수득하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 초기 몰비율이 3 내지 4 범위인 에탄올/락트산을 사용함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 분자체를 이용하여 반응 매질로부터 추출된 기체 혼합물의 탈수화를 위해, PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) 기술을 사용함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 에스테르화 반응 매질에 적용된 것과 동일한 압력에서, 분자체 층(a bed of molecular sieve)을 통해 기체 형태의 공비혼합물에 가까운 물/에탄올 혼합물을 통과시키는 것에 의한 선택적 물 흡착 공정, 및 그 후 압력을 300 mbar 미만으로 낮추는 것에 의하여 앞서 흡착된 물의 탈착(desorb) 공정을 교대로 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 에틸 락테이트의 정제 결과 수득된 중생성물이 에스테르화 반응 매질에서 재순환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
