Claims (13)
- 영상을 디스플레이하기 위한 화소부;상기 화소부로 주사신호를 공급하기 위한 주사 구동부;상기 화소부로 발광제어신호를 공급하기 위한 발광제어 구동부;상기 화소부로 데이터신호를 공급하기 위한 데이터 구동부; 및상기 데이터 구동부로부터 데이터신호를 공급받아 적어도 2개의 화소들로 데이터신호를 공급하기 위한 디멀티플렉서를 포함하며,상기 화소부는,상기 디멀티플렉서로부터 데이터신호를 공급받아, 각각의 열에 배치된 화소들에 적어도 2개의 데이터선들을 통해 상기 데이터신호를 교대로 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 디멀티플렉서는 순차적으로 턴온되어 상기 적어도 2 개의 화소들로 데이터신호를 공급하는 적어도 2개의 트랜지스터들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 화소부는,행 및 열을 이루며 형성되는 다수의 화소들;행을 이루는 화소들로 주사신호를 전달하기 위한 다수의 주사선들;상기 행을 이루는 화소들로 발광제어신호를 전달하기 위한 다수의 발광제어선들;열을 이루는 화소들의 일측에 형성되는 다수의 제 1 데이터선들; 및상기 열을 이루는 화소들의 타측에 형성되는 다수의 제 2 데이터선들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치.
- 제 3항에 있어서,상기 제 1 데이터선은 상기 열을 이루는 화소들 중 홀수행의 화소들과 연결되어 데이터신호를 전달하고,상기 제 2 데이터선은 상기 열을 이루는 화소들 중 짝수행의 화소들과 연결되어 데이터신호를 전달하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 유기전계발광표시장치는,상기 디멀티플렉서의 트랜지스터와 제 1 및 제 2 데이터선 사이에 형성되며, 상기 디멀티플렉서의 트랜지스터로부터 전달되는 데이터신호를 제 1 또는 제 2 데이터선에 교대로 공급하는 트랜지스터들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전 계발광표시장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 데이터선과 연결되는 제 1 트랜지스터는 상기 주사 구동부로부터 상기 짝수행의 화소들로 주사신호 공급될 때, 턴온되어 상기 제 1 데이터선으로 데이터신호를 공급하고,상기 제 2 데이터선과 연결되는 제 2 트랜지스터는 상기 주사 구동부로부터 상기 홀수행의 화소들로 주사신호가 공급될 때, 턴온되어 상기 제 2 데이터선으로 데이터신호를 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 디멀티플렉서의 트랜지스터들 및 제 1 및 제 2 데이터선들에 연결되는 트랜지스터들은 PMOS 트랜지스터인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 디멀티플렉서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 데이터선들과 연결되는 트랜지스터들 및 화소부는 동일한 기판 상에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치.
- 디멀티플렉서를 포함하는 유기전계발광표시장치의 구동방법에 있어서,이전 주사구간 동안 상기 디멀티플렉서로부터 홀수행의 화소들과 연결된 제 1 데이터선 또는 짝수행의 화소들과 연결된 제 2 데이터선으로 데이터신호를 공급하는 단계; 및현재 주사구간 동안 상기 제 1 또는 제 2 데이터선으로부터 활성화된 화소로 공급된 데이터신호를 전달하는 단계를 포함하는 유기전계발광표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 데이터신호를 공급하는 단계는,상기 디멀티플렉서의 적어도 2개의 트랜지스터들을 순차적으로 턴온시켜 적어도 2개의 화소들의 데이터신호들을 순차적으로 출력하는 단계; 및상기 데이터신호를 상기 제 1 데이터선 또는 제 2 데이터선으로 공급하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 데이터선 또는 제 2 데이터선으로 데이터신호를 공급하는 단계는,상기 디멀티플렉서의 트랜지스터와 상기 제 1 데이터선 사이에 형성된 제 1 트랜지스터 또는 상기 디멀티플렉서의 트랜지스터와 상기 제 2 데이터선 사이에 형 성된 제 2 트랜지스터를 선택적으로 턴온시켜 데이터신호를 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 데이터선 또는 제 2 데이터선으로 데이터신호를 공급하는 단계는, 상기 현재 주사구간 동안 활성화되는 화소와 연결되는 데이터선의 트랜지스터를 턴온시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 디멀티플렉서의 트랜지스터들, 데이터선들의 제 1 및 제 2 트랜지스터들은 PMOS 트랜지스터인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광표시장치의 구동방법.
