이하에서는 상기 제2실시예의 풍선을 사용하는 풍선 카테테르의 실시예를 더 구체적으로 상세하게 설명한다.
Claims (42)
- 카테테르 샤프트(catheter shaft)의 전방단(前方端)에 풍선을 설치하여 구성되고, 확장조작을 목적으로 하는 치료 및 수술에 사용되는 풍선 카테테르(balloon catheter)에 있어서, 카테테르의 전방부에 있어서 풍선의 내부를 통과하여 풍선의 전방단과 접합하는 가이드와이어 통과용 튜브(guide wire passing tube)를 구비하고, 풍선 카테테르의 조립시 또는 사용시에 상기 가이드와이어 통과용 튜브의 전방부에 축방향의 힘을 작용시킴으로써 풍선에 축방향의 장력(張力)을 발생시키는 장력발생수단을 설치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 풍선의 전방단에 장력이 작용하지 않는 상태에서 가이드와이어 통과용 튜브를 접합한 후에, 상기 장력발생수단에 의해 상기 가이드와이어 통과용 튜브의 전방부에 축방향의 힘을 작용시키는 상태에서 조립되는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 장력발생수단으로서 풍선 카테테르의 내부에 부착되는 탄성체를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 탄성체가 코일모양의 탄성체로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 탄성체가 금속 재료로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 탄성체에 지지되는 탄성력 전달체를 내부에 구비하고, 상기 탄성력 전달체에 의해 풍선에 축방향의 장력을 부여하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 탄성력 전달체가 풍선의 근방에까지 연장되는 선(線) 모양 부재를 구성 부품으로서 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 선모양 부재의 적어도 일부분이 테이퍼(taper) 모양을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 선모양 부재가 코일모양 탄성체의 일단부와 접합하고, 또 상기 코일모양 탄성체의 내부로부터 연장되어 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 탄성체의 변위에 의해 발생하는 응력(應力 : stress)이 5gf 이상 200gf 이하의 범위 내에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 탄성체의 변위에 의해 발생하는 응력이 10gf 이상 50gf 이하의 범위 내에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 카테테르 샤프트가 적어도 하나의 루멘(lumen)을 구비하는 복수의 튜브모양 부재로 이루어지고, 상기 카테테르 샤프트의 후방부와 전방부의 강성(剛性)이 서로 다르고, 또 상기 후방부의 강성을 상기 전방부의 강성보다 높게 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 카테테르 샤프트가 적어도 하나의 루멘을 구비하는 복수의 튜브모양 부재로 이루어지고, 상기 카테테르 샤프트의 후방부와 전방부의 강성이 서로 다르고, 상기 후방부가 폴리이미드(polyimide) 재료를 주성분으로 하여 구성되고, 또 상기 전방부가 폴리이미드보다 탄성률(彈性率)이 낮은 고분자 재료로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 카테테르 샤프트가 적어도 하나의 루멘을 구비하는 복수의 튜브모양 부재로 이루어지고, 상기 카테테르 샤프트의 후방부와 전방부의 강성이 서로 다르고, 또 상기 후방부가 금속 재료로 구성되고, 또 상기 전방부가 고분자 재료로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제12항 내지 제14항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,상기 카테테르 샤프트의 전방부에 친수성 코팅(親水性 coating)을 하고, 친수성 코팅의 범위를 상기 전방부에 접하는 카테테르 샤프트 후방부까지 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제12항 내지 제14항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,상기 카테테르 샤프트의 전방부에 친수성 코팅을 하고, 친수성 코팅의 범위를 상기 전방부와 비교하여 큰 직경으로 구성되는 카테테르 샤프트 후방부까지 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제12항 내지 제14항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,상기 카테테르 샤프트의 전방부로부터 후방부에 걸쳐 다단계적(多段階的) 또는 연속적으로 유연성(柔軟性)을 변화시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제12항 내지 제14항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,상기 카테테르 샤프트의 전방부로부터 후방부에 걸쳐 다단계적 또는 연속적으로 외경(外徑)을 변화시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제1항에 있어서,가이드 와이어(guide wire)가 삽입되는 가이드와이어 루멘(guide wire lumen)이 풍선의 전방단으로부터 카테테르 샤프트의 도중까지 한정하여 형성되는 풍선 카테테르에 있어서, 풍선 카테테르의 선단부로부터 가이드와이어 루멘의 후단 개구부(開口部)보다 후방측 부위에 이르는 카테테르 샤프트의 외측 표면에 친수성 코팅을 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제19항에 있어서,풍선 카테테르의 최전방단으로부터 후방측으로 300mm 이상의 범위에 친수성 코팅을 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제1항에 있어서,풍선 카테테르의 전방부에 있어서, 풍선과 카테테르 샤프트에 친수성 코팅이 되고, 상기 카테테르 샤프트의 친수성 코팅층의 두께가 상기 풍선 및 상기 풍선 근방의 친수성 코팅층의 두께보다 크게 조정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제1항에 있어서,풍선 카테테르의 전방부에 있어서 적어도 카테테르 샤프트에 친수성 코팅이 되고, 상기 카테테르 샤프트의 친수성 코팅층의 습윤시(濕潤時)의 마찰저항이 풍선 및 상기 풍선 근방의 마찰저항보다 작게 조정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제22항에 있어서,풍선 카테테르의 전방부에 있어서 카테테르 샤프트에만 상기 친수성 코팅이 실시되는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제21항 또는 제22항에 있어서,상기 카테테르 샤프트의 친수성 코팅층의 두께를 2 ~ 10μm 로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제1항에 있어서,카테테르 샤프트를 구성하는 복수의 튜브모양 부재 중 적어도 하나의 부재에 금속으로 만든 튜브모양 부재를 사용하는 풍선 카테테르에 있어서, 상기 금속으로 만든 튜브모양 부재를 그 외경(外徑)의 50배의 곡률 반경으로 90도로 구부린 상태를 1분 동안 유지한 후 해제할 때에 상기 금속으로 만든 튜브모양 부재에 발생하는 휨 각도가 15도 이내로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제1항에 있어서,카테테르 샤프트를 구성하는 복수의 튜브모양 부재 중 적어도 하나의 부재에 금속으로 만든 튜브모양 부재를 사용하는 풍선 카테테르에 있어서, 상기 금속으로 만든 튜브모양 부재를 그 외경의 35배의 곡률 반경으로 90도로 구부린 상태를 1분 동안 유지한 후 해제할 때에 상기 금속으로 만든 튜브모양 부재에 발생하는 휨 각도가 30도 이내로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제1항에 있어서,카테테르 샤프트를 구성하는 복수의 튜브모양 부재 중 적어도 하나의 부재에 금속으로 만든 튜브모양 부재를 사용하는 풍선 카테테르에 있어서, 상기 금속으로 만든 튜브모양 부재를 그 외경의 25배의 곡률 반경으로 90도로 구부린 상태를 1분 동안 유지한 후 해제할 때에 상기 금속으로 만든 튜브모양 부재에 발생하는 휨 각도가 35도 이내로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제25항 내지 제27항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,상기 금속으로 만든 튜브모양 부재의 금속 재료가 몰리브덴(molybdenum) 또는 티탄(titanium)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제25항 내지 제27항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,상기 금속으로 만든 튜브모양 부재의 재료로서는, 316스테인레스강, 321스테인레스강 및 430F스테인레스강 중에서 선택한 스테인레스강을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제1항에 있어서,직관부(直管部)와, 상기 직관부의 양단에 형성되어 외측으로 향함에 따라 직경이 작아지는 방향으로 경사지는 원추부(圓錐部)와, 상기 원추부의 양단에 형성되는 원통모양의 슬리브부(sleeve 部)를 구비하는 풍선에 있어서,풍선의 공칭(公稱) 팽창 직경3.5mm~3.0mm에 대하여 직관부 두께(WA)와 슬리브부 두께(WB)의 두께비(WB/WA)가 2.5 미만으로 되고, 공칭 팽창 직경2.5mm에 대하여 상기 두께비(WB/WA)가 2.3 미만으로 되고, 공칭 팽창 직경2.0mm에 대하여 상기 두께비(WB/WA)가 2.1 미만으로 되고, 공칭 팽창 직경1.5mm에 대하여 상기 두께비(WB/WA)가 2.0 미만으로 되도록 두께가 조정되는 풍선을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제30항에 있어서,상기 풍선의 원재료로서는, 쇼어 경도(shore 硬度)가 75D보다 크고, 신장률(伸張率)이 250% 미만이고, 또 글래스(glass)의 전이온도(轉移溫度)가 37℃ 미만인 열가소성 수지(熱可塑性 樹脂)로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제30항 또는 제31항에 있어서,풍선의 원료인 튜브모양 부재를 축방향으로 신장시키고, 블로우(blow) 성형방법에 의해 원주방향으로 신장시켜 풍선으로 성형을 한 후에, 슬리브부의 두께를 얇게 만들기 위해서 상기 풍선의 내부에 상기 원주방향으로 신장시킬 때보다 높은 압력을 가하면서 풍선의 직관부와 원추부를 금형 내에 장착하고 슬리브부를 축방향으로 신장시켜 풍선을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제30항 또는 제31항에 있어서,연마(硏磨) 또는 연삭(硏削)에 의해 풍선의 슬리브부 두께를 얇게 하는 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
- 제1항에 있어서,풍선은 결정화(結晶化) 영역을 구비하는 고분자 재료로 구성되고, 상기 풍선의 결정화도(結晶化度)가 10% 이상 40% 이하로 조정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍선 카테테르.
