Claims (9)
- 열가소성 필름의 제 1 및 제 2 웹(14, 22)중 적어도 하나는 초기에 인장력을 받는 상태로 열가소성 필름의 제 1 및 제 2 웹을 접합하는 방법으로서,(a) 초기에 인장력을 받는 열가소성 재료의 제 1 웹(14)을 제공하는 단계와,(b) 열가소성 재료의 제 2 웹(22)을 제공하는 단계와,(c) 상기 제 2 웹의 일부분이 상기 제 1 웹의 일부분과 부분적으로 중첩되도록 열가소성 재료의 상기 제 2 웹의 일부분을 열가소성 재료의 상기 제 1 웹과 접촉시켜서 중첩 영역을 형성하도록 하는 단계와,(d) 상기 웹을 서로 접합하도록 상기 중첩 영역에 열을 가하는 단계를 포함하는, 열가소성 필름의 웹을 접합하는 방법에 있어서,(e) 상기 접합을 제공하도록 상기 중첩 영역이 가열되는 동안, 열가소성 재료의 상기 제 1 웹(14)상의 인장력을 순간적으로 감소시키도록 열가소성 재료의 상기 제 1 웹(14)내에 슬랙(slack)을 형성하는 단계와,(f) 상기 중첩 영역에서 상기 제 1 및 제 2 웹(14, 22) 사이의 접합을 실행하는 동시에 또는 그 후에 상기 중첩 영역의 바로 위에서 열가소성 재료의 상기 제 1 웹(14)을 절단하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는열가소성 필름의 웹을 접합하는 방법.
- 열가소성 필름의 웹(14, 22)중 적어도 하나는 초기에 인장력을 받는 상태로열가소성 필름의 2개 웹(14, 22)을 서로 접합하는 장치(10)로서,열가소성 재료의 제 1 웹(14)을 공급하기 위한 수단과;열가소성 재료의 제 2 웹(22)을 공급하기 위한 수단과;재료의 상기 제 1 웹(14)을 하류 라인 작업으로 공급하기 위한 수단(46)과;중첩 영역을 형성하도록 열가소성 재료의 상기 제 1 및 제 2 웹(14, 22)의 부분을 중첩 관계로 위치설정하기 위한 수단과;상기 중첩 영역에서 상기 제 1 및 제 2 웹(14, 22) 사이를 접합시키기 위해 상기 중첩 영역을 가열하기 위한 수단(36, 36')과;상기 접합된 중첩 영역이 냉각된 후에 열가소성 재료의 상기 제 2 웹상의 인장력을 증가시키기 위한 수단을 포함하는, 열가소성 필름의 웹을 접합하는 장치(10)에 있어서,상기 접합을 제공하도록 상기 중첩 영역이 가열되는 동안, 상기 제 1 웹(14)상의 인장력을 순간적으로 감소시키도록 열가소성 재료의 상기 제 1 웹(14)내에 슬랙을 형성하기 위한 수단과,상기 중첩 영역에서 상기 제 1 및 제 2 웹(14, 22) 사이의 접합을 실행하는 동시에 또는 그 후에 상기 중첩 영역의 바로 위에서 열가소성 재료의 상기 제 1 웹(14)을 절단하기 위한 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는열가소성 필름의 웹을 접합하는 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,열가소성 재료의 상기 제 1 웹상의 인장력을 감소시키기 위한 상기 수단이 상기 제 1 웹(14)에 슬랙을 제공하도록 선택적으로 폐쇄가능한 제 1 및 제 2 클램프(62, 64)를 포함하는열가소성 필름의 웹을 접합하는 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,중첩 관계인 열가소성 재료의 상기 제 1 및 제 2 웹(14, 22)의 부분을 위치설정하기 위한 상기 수단이 상기 중첩 영역을 형성하기 위해 상기 제 1 및 제 2 웹(14, 22)을 포획하도록 선택적으로 폐쇄가능한 제 1 및 제 2 접합구 클램프(58, 60)를 포함하는열가소성 필름의 웹을 접합하는 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 열가소성 재료의 제 1 및 제 2 웹의 중첩 영역을 가열하기 위한 수단이 상기 접합구 클램프(58, 60)중 적어도 하나상에 위치된 가열 요소(36, 36')를 포함하는열가소성 필름의 웹을 접합하는 장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 가열 요소(36, 36')에 의해 발생되는 가열 펄스의 온도 및 기간을 제어하기 위한 수단(40, 40')을 더 포함하는열가소성 필름의 웹을 접합하는 장치.

- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 접합 장치(10)의 하류 위치에 있는 라인 작업내의 적용 장치에 상기 열가소성 재료를 동시에 공급하기 위한 수단(46)을 더 포함하는열가소성 필름의 웹을 접합하는 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 적용 장치에 열가소성 재료를 동시에 공급하기 위한 상기 수단(46)이 제 1 및 제 2 피봇가능한 랙(68, 70)을 구비하는 장식띠(festoon)를 더 포함하며, 각 랙은 다수의 연장하는 롤러(72, 74)를 구비하며, 열가소성 재료의 상기 제 1 웹의 하류 세그먼트는 교호식 롤러(72, 74)상에 감길 수 있도록 상기 장식띠상에 저장되는열가소성 필름의 웹을 접합하는 장치.
