Description
Claims (7)
- 액정셀들이 매트릭스 형태로 배열되어진 액정 패널을 구동하는 장치에 있어서, 상기 액정셀들이 1 라인 분씩 구동되게끔 상기 액정 패널에 데이터신호를 공급하는 신호공급수단과, 상기 액정 패널이 다수의 블록들로 분할되게 함과 아울러 상기 블록들 각각이 인접한 블록들에 공급되는 데이터신호들과 상반된 극성의 데이터신호들에 응답하게끔, 상기 액정 패널에 공급되는 데이터신호를 제어하는 극성 제어수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 패널 구동장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 극성 제어수단은 상기 블록들 각각에 공급되는 데이터신호들의 극성들이 프레임 기간마다 반전되게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 패널 구동장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 극성 제어수단은 상기 블록들 각각에 포함되어진 상기 액정셀들이 인접한 액정셀들에 공급되는 데이터신호와 상반된 극성의 데이터신호에 응답하게끔 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 패널 구동장치.
- 복수개의 게이트 라인들과 소오스 라인들이 교차하는 교차점들 각각에 위치하는 화소들과 이들 화소들 각각에 연결되어진 트랜지스터들을 가지는 액정패널과, 상기 복수개의 게이트 라인들에 연결되어 상기 게이트 라인들에 순차적으로 스캐닝신호를 인가하는 게이트 드라이버와, 상기 액정패널을 복수개의 블록으로 분할하고, 각 블록들 내에서 수평 및 수직 방향으로 서로 인접하는 화소들에 인가되는 데이터 전압들의 극성이 서로 상반되게 하고, 아울러 수평 및 수직 방향으로 인접하는 블록들끼리 서로 인가된 데이터전압의 극성배열이 상반되게 상기 복수의 소오스 라인들에 데이터 전압을 공급하는 소오스 드라이버를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 액정표시장치에 있어서, 복수개의 게이트라인들과, 소오스라인들이 교차하는 교차점 각각에서 상기 게이트라인과 소오스라인에 접속되는 트랜지스터와, 상기 트랜지스터에 접속되는 화소들이 매트릭스 형태로 배열된 액정패널과; 상기 복수개의 게이트라인들에 접속되어 순차적으로 스캐닝신호를 인가하는 게이트 드라이버와; 상기 복수개의 소오스라인들에 접속외더 데이터신호를 인가하는 데이터 드라이버를 포함하고; 상기 데이터 드라이버가 수직 및 수평으로 인접하는 적어도 4개 이상의 화소들을 포함하는 화소 그룹내의 각 화소들에게 각각 수직 및 수평으로 인접하는 화소 그룹내의 화소들과 극성이 반대가 되도록 데이터신호를 인가하고, 상기 화소그룹과 인접하는 화소그룹의 경계면에 위치하는 화소들간의 극성이 동일하도록 데이터신호를 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 데이터 드라이버는 프레임주기로 각 화소들에게 인가되는 데이터신호의 극성을 반전시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제5항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 상기 화소그룹이 수평 및 수직으로 인접한 4개의 화소들로 구성되는 것임을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
