Claims (8)
- 핵연료 표면에 ⅰ) 열분해 탄소, 붕소 또는 질소와 반응하여 탄화물(carbides), 붕화물(borides) 또는 질화물(nitrides)을 형성할 수 있는 화합물과 ⅱ) 열분해 탄소, 붕소 또는 질소를 핵연료 표면에 순차적으로 또는 역순으로 두층 이상 적층한 다음 상기 층을 고온 및 고압에서 연소합성시켜 탄화물, 붕화물 또는 질화물과 이들의 복합물이 적층으로 도포된 핵연료를 제조하는 방법
- 제 1항에 있어서, 열분해 탄소의 탄소원은 메탄(CH4), 아세틸렌(C2H2), 에틸렌(C2H4) 또는 프로판(C3H8)인 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화물, 붕화물 또는 질화물과 이들의 복합물이 적층으로 도포된 핵연료를 제조하는 방법
- 제 1항에 있어서, 열분해 탄소, 붕소 또는 질소와 반응하여 탄화물, 질화물 또는 붕화물을 형성할 수 있는 화합물과 이들의 복합물은 규소(Si), 지르코늄(Zr) 또는 붕소(B) 화합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화물, 붕화물 또는 질화물과 이들의 복합물이 적층으로 도포된 핵연료를 제조하는 방법
- 제 3항에 있어서, 규소 화합물은 실란(SiH4), 테트라메틸실란[(CH3)4Si] 또는 헥사메틸디실란(C6H18Si2)인 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화물, 붕화물 또는 질화물과 이들의 복합물이 적층으로 도포된 핵연료를 제조하는 방법
- 제 1항에 있어서, 핵연료 표면에 열분해 탄소, 질소 또는 붕소 및 이들과 반응하여 탄화물, 질화물 또는 붕화물을 형성할 수 있는 화합물을 도포하는 과정에 있어서, 화학증착법, 가스 침투법 또는 스퍼터링(sputtering) 방법을 통하여 도포하는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화물, 붕화물 또는 질화물과 이들의 복합물이 적층으로 도포된 핵연료를 제조하는 방법
- 제 1항에 있어서, 고온 연소합성시의 열원은 레이저 빔, 아크 또는 마이크로파(microwave)인 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화물, 붕화물 또는 질화물과 이들의 복합물이 적층으로 도포된 핵연료를 제조하는 방법
- 제 1항에 있어서, 핵연료는 입자형(particle) 또는 소결체(pellet)가 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화물, 붕화물 또는 질화물과 이들의 복합물이 적층으로 도포된 핵연료를 제조하는 방법
- 제 1항에 있어서, 핵연료 표면에 탄화물로서 탄화규소 층이 형성된 경우, 탄화규소층의 조성은 β-탄화규소(β-SiC)가 99% 이상이 되도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 탄화물, 붕화물 또는 질화물과 이들의 복합물이 적층으로 도포된 핵연료를 제조하는 방법
