Description
Claims (11)
- 한쪽단이 외부전원에 연결된 커패시터와;한쪽단이 상기한 커패시터의 다른 한쪽단과 연결되고, 남은 한쪽단이 그라운드에 연결되어, 특정 단자의 기준전압을 설정하는 기준전압설정수단과;기준전압이 설정되는 제1단자가 상기한 기준전압설정수단의 한쪽단 및 상기한 커패시터의 한쪽단과 연결되고, 제2단자가 그라운드에 연결되며, 제3단자가 박막 트랜지스터 액정표시장치의 보조 용량 커패시터의 한쪽단과 연결되어, 외부전원이 끊어지면 박막 트랜지스터 액정표시장치의 보조 용량 커패시터의 전위를 그라운드 레벨로 만드는 스위칭수단을 포함하는 박막 트랜지스터 액정표시장치의 화면 지움 회로.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기한 기준전압설정수단은 다이오드(D1)인 박막 트랜지스터 액정표시장치의 화면 지움 회로.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기한 스위칭 수단은 PMOS 트랜지스터(M1)인 박막 트랜지스터 액정표시장치의 화면 지움 회로.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기한 커패시터(C1)와 상기한 다이오드(D1)는 전원 차단 여부를 감지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 박막 트랜지스터 액정표시장치의 화면 지움 회로.
- 기판상에 형성된 보조 용량 커패시터와스위칭 소자의 한 단자는 상기 보조 용량 커패시터와 전기적으로 연결되고,상기 스위칭 소자의 또 다른 한 단자는 커패시터를 통하여 외부 전원 단자에 연결되고 또한 상기 스위칭 소자의 한 단자의 기준 전압을 설정하기 위한 수단을 통하여 그라운드 단자에 연결되고, 또 다른 단자는 그라운드 전위에 연결되어, 상기의 외부전원이 끊어지면 상기 스위칭 소자가 작동하여 상기 보조 용량 커패시터의 전위를 그라운드 레벨로 만들어 주므로써 잔류화상을 제거함을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 스위칭 소자는 PMOS 트랜지스터임을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 PMOS 트랜지스터의 게이트와 연결된 기준 전압을 설정하는 수단은 다이오드 또는 저항임을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 보조 용량 커패시터는 전단의 게이트와 공유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 스위칭 소자는 PMOS 트랜지스터임을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 PMOS 트랜지스터의 게이트와 연결된 기준 전압을 설정하는 수단은 다이오드 또는 저항임을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 외부 전원이 차단되었는지를 감지하는 단계와;외부 전원이 차단되지 않았으면, 커패시터에 전하를 충전하고, 외부 전원이 차단되었는지를 감지하기 위해 돌아가는 단계와;외부 전원이 차단되었으면, 보조 용량 커패시터(Cst)의 전압을 방전시키고, 외부 전원이 차단되었는지를 감지하기 위해 돌아가는 단계로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는, 박막 트랜지스터 액정표시장치의 화면 지움 회로의 구동 방법.
