Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the seat shape heater unit with no breaking of heating wire and with stable tensile and tearing forces. CONSTITUTION:On a core body 17 made of one sheet of needle point perforated type non-woven fabric, a heating wire is arranged in zigzag manner so as to give good folding characteristics and connected through a cord connecting part 21 to a flexible cord 12, to the tip of which a connector 13 is connected. The heating wire 16 of the core body 17 is arranged by jig, so as to be heat-pressed on the upper and lower sides with inside fabric bodies 15 and 18 with coarsely fulling property for primary bonding and, furthermore, pressed for secondary bonding with outside fabric bodies 14 and 19 with densely fulling property, over the both surfaces of which bonding agent 20 is attached sporadically, laying on top of the inside fabric bodies 15 and 18 respectively.
