Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a thermosensitive recorder, the speed of duplication thereof is fast and which ensures clear and high fastness duplication, by each laminating thermosensitive transcribing and thermofusing ink layers and (semi)transparent paper having a specified degree of surface smoothness on both surfaces of a base material. CONSTITUTION:A thermosensitive recorder is formed in such a manner that thermofusing ink layers 2, 21 with about 2-10mu thickness consisting of about 2-30wt. section thermal conductive substance, about 2-25wt. section coloring agent and about 5-35wt. section softening agent are made up on both surfaces of a base material (shch as plain paper, a resin film), and (semi)transparent paper (duplicated sheets) 3, 31, the degrees of Beck smoothness of inner surfaces (surfaces at the sides contacting with said ink layers) thereof are 100-5,000sec., the degrees of Beck smoothness of outer surfaces thereof are 5,000-70,000sec., density thereof is about 0.9-1.4 and thickness thereof is about 10-25mu, is laminated on the layers 2, 21. However, plain paper may be used as the duplicated sheet at the side opposite to the side contacting with a thermal head when printing.
