Abstract
PURPOSE:To distribute a magnetic field evenly while suppressing the generation of an eddy current by equally dividing a center pole by radially forming slits at the magnetic pole part of the center pole and a front plate. CONSTITUTION:The columnar center pole has the tip part, fitted in a moving coil, cut by four narrow-width slits 10 penetrating center point 9 to obtain eight equal parts 14 of 45 deg.. The cutting depth of each slit is nearly equal to the maximum amplitude of the moving coil and the number of slits is changeable in accordance with the diameter of the center pole and the purpose of use, but normally about 2-6. Consequently, since the slits are cut in the passing direction of magnetic flux, the possibility that the magnetic resistance increases is a little and the deterioration of the magnetic density of a gap magnetic field is small. Additionally, the cutting effect of slits and the effect of conduction layer formation are involved mutually, so that the generation of an eddy current. Further, an even magnetic field is provided through equal-angle division of slits.
