Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid the clogging of dust collector with adhesive dust by hanging down a flexible striker at the inside of outlet pipe of cyclone duct.
CONSTITUTION: The inside of the outlet pipe 4 of the unit cyclone duct 1 is provided with the supporter 10, and from the center of the supporter, the flexible wire 11 connected with a striker, e.g., the chain 12, is hanged down. During operation, the chain 12 is swung by gas flow to give a shock to the dust deposit 9 on the lower conical portion 3 in the way as shown by the marks 12a and 12b. The shock vibrates the unit cyclone duct 1 to hasten the falling of dust adhered to the inside wall. The striker has no influence on the gas flow along the inside wall of the unit cyclone duct 1, and thus the separation of dust is not interrupted and also because the striker is hung down at the center, the flow of gas discharged from the outlet pipe 4 is also interrupted.
