Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an economical decorative material suitable for continuous production including the formation of a protective coat and for small-quantity many-kind production by forming an embossed pattern by foaming/heating treatment.
CONSTITUTION: A transparent synthetic resin film 1 (e.g. polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride) is conveyed while in contact with a rubber roll 3 rotated by a presser roll 2. By use of a rotary screen mechanism 4, a foamable synthetic resin paint 6 is pushed out by a squeezer 5 and printed on the film 1 in an embossed arabesque pattern. Then the sheet is dried and gelled while passing by a far infrared device 7. A sheet material 9, formed by applying a white non-foamable vinyl chloride composition onto flame-retarding paper, is softened by a heater 8 and pasted onto the film 1 by use of a pressure contact roll 10, and the laminate is heated and foamed in a foaming furnace 11.
