Abstract

PURPOSE: To well correct various aberrations and further reduce degradation of performance through change in shape owing to the unevenness of the face and temperature change as far as possible by effectively disposing a plastic lens including aspherical face.
CONSTITUTION: A negative meniscus lens 1 whose convex face is faced to the object and an aspherical face lens 2 composed of plastics having paraxially afocal refractive power provided with aspherical face on the face opposing to the lens 1 is disposed immediate after the object face side of said lens. The aspherical face is formed to such shape that the quantity of deviation from the position of the paraxial radius of curvature increases to the image plane side from the position of the paraxial radius of curvature as it goes further from the optical axis of the lens system. The radius of curvature of the face of the lens 1 opposing to the aspherical lens 2 is made smaller than the paraxial radius of curvature of the aspherical face.
