Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve production efficiency and to lower the generation rate of defective articles by molding flanges as parts for the cartridge in an independent line, supplying the flanges to an assembly line, assembling the flanges to spool shafts and further, retaining the flanges with hubs built to the spool shafts. CONSTITUTION:The production line is constituted of a master winding roll A for a synthetic resin material, a molding station B, an aperture blanking station C, an assembling station D, an idle station E, a blanking station F and a recovering roll G. The sheet-like synthetic resin material prepd. in a roll form is continuously guided in a, horizontal state of the path to respective stages where the remaining parts are recovered. The sheet-like synthetic resin material is then formed with plural rugged shapes of the flanges 10 by vacuum molding and is subjected to blanking of the central apertures 11 of the flanges and the apertures 12 for control. The central apertures 11 of the flanges 10 are assembled to engaging parts 31 of the hubs supplied to the separately formed line. The material is then blanked in such a manner that the collar parts 13 of the flanges remain.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The 35 mm roll film, which is now in widespread use, is housed in a light-shielding container called a patrone, and is a long film having continuous through holes called perforations on both sides. The base end is fixed and wound around a spool shaft in the cartridge, and the lead portion is pulled out to the outside through a slit in which a light-shielding fiber material called a so-called teremp is arranged.

The cartridges for storing the 35 mm roll film, which are commercially available in Japan, are made of metal, but there are problems in manufacturing cost, camera loading problem, and miniaturization problem.
There are problems such as reuse, and various cartridges or cartridges made of synthetic resin (in this specification, cartridges are unified) have been proposed, for example, those described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 3-214153.

The cartridge described in the above publication is a so-called leadless type in which the entire film is formed of synthetic resin and the film is wound into the cartridge up to its tip. It is a method of pushing the stored film out of the cartridge by the pushing operation by rotating the shaft, and in such a type of cartridge, the film is kept wound around the spool shaft without a gap, In order to prevent such a spread state, a flexible flange having a collar that presses both ends of the wound film is used.

In the cartridge described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 3-214153, the flexible flange is fitted on the spool shaft and pressed by the hub, so that the production efficiency and the yield are low in the assembly process. There is. However, photographic film has a merit in mass production, and the reduction of manufacturing cost is a problem that directly affects profits, and the incorporation of the above-mentioned type of flange is a configuration that does not exist in conventional cartridges. This is a factor that significantly increases the cost.

A method of manufacturing a film cartridge component according to the present invention, which achieves the above-mentioned object, comprises a step of continuously preparing a sheet-shaped synthetic resin material prepared in a roll state in a substantially horizontal state. To convey the remaining portion by guiding the sheet to the sheet, a forming step of forming a plurality of uneven shapes of the flange by vacuum forming on the sheet-shaped synthetic resin material, and a punching of the central opening and the control opening of the flange. From the opening punching process to be performed, the assembling process of incorporating the central opening of the flange into the engaging part of the hub that is separately molded and supplied to the line, and the punching process of punching leaving the flange of the flange. It consists of making up.

At the molding station B, a sheet-shaped synthetic resin material 20 conveyed in the direction of the arrow is heated by a heater B1 and vacuumed by a vacuum means B2 according to a mold B3 to form an uneven shape of the flange 10. . As shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of the uneven shapes are formed in the width direction of the sheet-shaped synthetic resin material 20 and the positions thereof are changed in a zigzag manner to effectively use the material.

The cross-sectional shape of the vacuum formed flange 10 is shown in FIG. At the opening punching station C,
As shown in FIG. 2, the central opening 11 of the flange 10 and the plurality of control openings 12 are punched out. In the assembling station D, as shown in FIG. 3, a step of pushing the central opening 11 of the flange 19 into the engaging portion 31 of the hub 30 which is aligned and supplied at a predetermined position is performed.

During this process, the attitude of the stopper 32 of the hub 30 is controlled so that it is positioned in the control opening 12 of the flange 10. The stopper 32 is a so-called ratchet mechanism, and restricts the flange 10 so that it can rotate only in a fixed direction with respect to the hub 30. Although not shown, the spool shaft is fixed to the base end 33 of the hub 30 in a later step.

[0012] The idle station E is an empty process so that an arbitrary process required for production can be added later. The punching station F performs a step of punching the flange 10 from the sheet-shaped synthetic resin material 20. At this time, the flange 10 is punched with a slightly larger diameter so that the flange 13 is formed. The remaining sheet-shaped synthetic resin material 20 after the above steps are completed is the recovery roll G.
To be wound up. Through the above steps, the molding of the flange 10 and the assembling into the hub 30 are completed, and the parts are supplied to the cartridge assembly line or the film winding line.

According to the method of the present invention, the flange 10 is molded as an independent line for the cartridge, and is supplied to the assembly line to be incorporated into the spool shaft.
Furthermore, it can be pressed by a hub built into the spool shaft, for example,
Compared with the method described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 3-214153, the production efficiency is remarkably high, and the flange 10 is a flexible material, so that the preformed pieces are individually guided to the spool shaft. The occurrence rate of defective products is very low as compared with the supply method, and it is also useful for reducing the production cost, and the above-mentioned problems are solved.
