【考案の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本考案はコークス炉上昇管の水封装置からの水
封水に随伴して流出した塊コークスを除去して、
排水管の詰まりを防止する装置でコークス炉の上
昇管に関するものである。

管6が閉塞する過程について調査した結果、まず
排水管6の内径Dと同程度以上(最大粒径10mm程
度以上)のスポンジ状塊コークスが該排水管6の
内部(特に屈曲部)に引掛かり、これが核となつ
て、次に流入してきたスポンジ状塊コークス及び
塵埃が順次引掛かり、ついには閉塞することが確
認出来た。

ス除去部材を設けことを特徴とするコークス炉の
上昇管である。

封水が漏洩することがなくなりコークス炉の炉頂
のレンガに悪影響を与えることがなくなる等の効
果を奏するものである。
