Description
本願は、米国特許商標庁に2019年12月30日に出願された米国仮特許出願No.62/955161、2019年12月30日に出願された米国仮特許出願No.62/955155、及び2020年12月21日に出願された米国特許出願No.17/128849からの優先権を主張する。この開示は、その全体を参照としてここに組み入れる。
本発明は、繊維材料の臭気減少及び細菌制御のための組成物及び方法、特に食品保存剤のような一般に安全と認識される(Generally-Recognized-as-Safe(GRAS))抗菌/保存添加剤又は成分を使用した繊維材料の臭気減少及び細菌制御のための組成物及び方法に関する。
色比較を行なうために、0.5%owbの処理割合で安息香酸を使用した。Aは、安息香酸なしの未処理コントロールであり、Bは、濃縮物の配合ありで0.5%owb安息香酸で処理され、Cは、濃縮物の配合なしで0.5%owbの安息香酸で処理された。

組成物が、濃縮物の形態である、項目1に記載の組成物。
(項目19)
項目1に記載の組成物で処理された物品。
(項目20)
物品が、繊維材料である、項目19に記載の物品。
(項目21)
繊維材料の臭気減少及び細菌制御のための方法であって、抗菌又は保存特性を有するGRAS添加剤又は成分を含む組成物を準備し、その組成物を繊維材料に付与することを含む方法。
(項目22)
精油をさらに含む、項目21に記載の方法。
(項目23)
GRAS添加剤が、最小危険殺菌剤である、項目21に記載の方法。

一種より多い有機酸が、組み合わせて使用され、活性酸の全重量が、最終組成物の5~60重量%である、項目26に記載の方法。
(項目36)
ポリマー濃縮物が、繊維材料に付与する前に吸尽又はパディング浴中に添加される、項目32に記載の方法。
(項目37)
繊維材料が、繊維材料の重量に基づいて0.1~5%の付与された最終活性濃度を有する、項目36に記載の方法。
(項目38)
無機ポリマーレオロジー調節剤をさらに含む、項目21に記載の方法。
(項目39)
臭気減少又は細菌制御のための方法であって、浴液を準備し、浴液に安息香酸ナトリウム塩を添加し、浴液に別の酸を添加して安息香酸ナトリウム塩を安息香酸に変化させ、処理浴液を作成することを含む方法。
(項目40)
処理浴液を繊維材料に付与し、それによって臭気減少又は細菌制御特性を付与することをさらに含む、項目39に記載の方法。
Claims (13)
- 吸尽法又はパディング法によって、有色染料とともに、繊維材料に適用される組成物であって、
前記組成物は、
前記組成物の全重量に基づいて、5重量%~60重量%の安息香酸と、
水又は有機溶媒から選択されるキャリアと、
を含み、
前記組成物のpHは、安息香酸のpKaよりも低い、組成物。 - 前記組成物の前記全重量に基づいて、1重量%~20重量%の真菌種に対して活性を有する精油をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記精油は、セダー油、ユーカリ油(Eucalyptus globulus又はE.radiata)、クローブ油(Eugenia caryophyllata)、オレガノ油(Origanum vulgare)、タイム油(Thymus vulgaris)、桂皮油(Cinnamomum zeylanicum)、ペパーミント油(Mentha piperita)、バジル油(Ocimum basilicum)、ローズマリー油(Salvia rosmarinus)、シソ油(Perilla frutescens)、シトロン油(Citrus medica)、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物の前記全重量に基づいて、1重量%~20重量%の臭気緩和化合物をさらに含み、
前記臭気緩和化合物は、炭酸ナトリウム、炭酸カルシウム、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 前記安息香酸は、前記組成物の前記全重量に基づいて、10重量%~50重量%の濃度で存在する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 吸尽法又はパディング法によって、有色染料とともに、請求項1の前記組成物が適用された繊維材料。
- 前記組成物は、前記繊維材料の全重量に基づいて、0.1重量%~5重量%の濃度で存在する、請求項6に記載の繊維材料。
- 前記組成物は、真菌種に対して活性を有する精油をさらに備え、
前記精油は、前記組成物の全重量に基づいて、1重量%~20重量%の濃度で存在する、請求項6に記載の繊維材料。 - 前記精油は、前記繊維材料の前記全重量に基づいて、0.05重量%~1重量%の濃度で存在する、請求項8に記載の繊維材料。
- 前記繊維材料は、AATCC 30(III)に従って、Aspergillus niger培養物に4日間暴露した後、真菌成長を全く示さない、請求項9に記載の繊維材料。
- 繊維材料の細菌減少のための方法であって、
前記方法は、
請求項1の前記組成物を提供することと、
吸尽又はパディングすることによって、前記組成物を前記繊維材料に適用することと、
を含み、
前記適用することは、吸尽又はパディングすることによって、有色染料を、前記組成物とともに前記繊維材料に適用することを含む、
方法。 - 前記適用することは、前記吸尽又は前記パディング中に、前記組成物の全重量に基づいて、1重量%~20重量%の濃度の真菌種に対して活性を有する精油を適用することであって、前記吸尽又は前記パディング後に、前記精油は、前記繊維材料の全重量に基づいて、0.05重量%~1重量%の最終濃度で存在する、前記適用すること、をさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記精油は、セダー油、ユーカリ油(Eucalyptus globulus又はE.radiata)、クローブ油(Eugenia caryophyllata)、オレガノ油(Origanum vulgare)、タイム油(Thymus vulgaris)、桂皮油(Cinnamomum zeylanicum)、ペパーミント油(Mentha piperita)、バジル油(Ocimum basilicum)、ローズマリー油(Salvia rosmarinus)、シソ油(Perilla frutescens)、シトロン油(Citrus medica)、及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項12に記載の方法。
