Claims (19)
- 医療用流体を送達するためのインジェクタシステムであって、
前記医療用流体を収容するように構成されたリザーバを形成した少なくとも1つのシリンジであって、前記少なくとも1つのシリンジは、ピストンに動作可能に接続されたプランジャと、前記リザーバに連通した少なくとも1つの出入り口であって、前記出入り口を通じて、前記医療用流体が、前記医療用流体を収容するように構成された前記リザーバに流入すること及び前記リザーバから流出することができる、出入り口と、を備えている、少なくとも1つのシリンジと、
前記ピストンおよび前記リザーバ内の前記プランジャを移動させるように構成されたポンプと、
少なくとも1つのプロセッサであって、
前記リザーバ内の空気を検出するための空気チェックプロトコルに基づいて、前記インジェクタシステムの前記少なくとも1つのシリンジについて、ベースライン圧縮性データを含むベースライン値を決定し、前記リザーバが第1の量の前記医療用流体および既知の量の空気で実質的に満たされ、前記少なくとも1つのシリンジが加圧され、圧縮された第1の量の前記医療用流体および前記既知の量の空気の加圧された体積が、前記インジェクタシステムの1つ以上のコンポーネントのたわみと、前記リザーバおよび流体経路のコンプライアンスと、前記既知の量の空気と、に基づいて、前記ベースライン圧縮性データを提供するために測定され、
前記第1の量の前記医療用流体および前記既知の量の空気を前記リザーバから送達し、
前記リザーバを第2の量の前記医療用流体で再び満たし、
前記空気チェックプロトコルに基づいて、前記第2の量の前記医療用流体で満たされた前記インジェクタシステムの前記少なくとも1つのシリンジについて空気チェック圧縮性データを集めることによって、空気チェック加圧シーケンスを実行し、
前記空気チェックプロトコルに基づいて、第2の量の前記医療用流体を有する前記リザーバ内に存在する空気の量を決定するために、第2の量の前記医療用流体で満たされた前記少なくとも1つのシリンジについての前記空気チェック圧縮性データを前記ベースライン圧縮性データと比較し、前記空気チェック圧縮性データを前記ベースライン圧縮性データと比較する場合に、補正係数を取り入れて、1つ以上のインジェクタシステムコンポーネントのたわみ、前記ベースライン圧縮性データを決定するために使用される前記第1の量の前記医療用流体の体積と比べて異なる前記医療用流体の体積、および前記ベースライン圧縮性データを決定するときの前記ピストンの位置と比べて異なる前記ピストンの位置によるキャパシタンスにおける変動を考慮する、
ようにプログラムまたは構成されている、少なくとも1つのプロセッサと、
を備える、インジェクタシステム。 - 前記プロセッサは、前記空気チェックプロトコルに基づいて、前記ベースライン値の決定前に前記リザーバから前記第1の量の前記医療用流体内の空気をパージするようにさらにプログラムまたは構成されている、請求項1に記載のインジェクタシステム。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記空気チェックプロトコルに基づいて、前記リザーバから前記第2の量の前記医療用流体のうちのプライム量を送達するようにさらにプログラムまたは構成されており、前記第2の量の前記医療用流体のうちの前記プライム量は、前記リザーバに存在する空気の体積よりも大きい体積を有する、請求項1または2に記載のインジェクタシステム。
- 前記プロセッサが前記第2の量の前記医療用流体のうちの前記プライム量を送達するようにさらにプログラムまたは構成されることは、前記プライム量を、前記リザーバに存在する空気の量を除去するために必要な前記第2の量の前記医療用流体のうちの最小量に等しくなるように最適化することをさらに含む、請求項3に記載のインジェクタシステム。
- 下流の空気検出器をさらに備え、前記下流の空気検出器は、前記第2の量の医療用流体のうちの前記プライム量が前記リザーバから送達された場合に、前記プライム量の後に流体経路内にさらなる空気が存在しないことを確認するようにプログラムまたは構成されている、請求項3または4に記載のインジェクタシステム。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記空気チェックプロトコルに基づいて、前記リザーバに存在する空気の量が所定の体積値を超えるかどうかを判断するようにさらにプログラムまたは構成されている、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のインジェクタシステム。
- 前記リザーバに存在する空気の量が前記所定の体積値を超えた場合に、前記プロセッサは、前記空気チェックプロトコルに基づいて、前記リザーバから前記第2の量の前記医療用流体を送達する前に前記リザーバから空気の量をパージするか、または障害状態が存在するかどうかを判断するように、さらにプログラムまたは構成されている、請求項6に記載のインジェクタシステム。
- 前記リザーバから空気の量をパージした後に、前記プロセッサは、前記空気チェックプロトコルに基づいて、前記リザーバから追加の空気チェック圧縮性データを集めることによって追加の空気チェック加圧シーケンスを実行し、前記リザーバに空気が残っていないかどうかを判断するために、前記追加の空気チェック圧縮性データを前記ベースライン圧縮性データと比較するようにさらにプログラムまたは構成されている、請求項7に記載のインジェクタシステム。
- 前記所定の体積値は、0.1ミリリットル~20ミリリットルの範囲である、請求項6に記載のインジェクタシステム。
- 前記リザーバ内に存在する空気の量を決定するために、前記空気チェック圧縮性データを前記ベースライン圧縮性データと比較することは、前記リザーバ内に存在する空気の量を決定するために、前記空気チェック圧縮性データを前記ベースライン圧縮性データと比較するための組み込みアルゴリズムを使用することを含む、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のインジェクタシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのシリンジは、前記少なくとも1つの出入り口に組み合わせられた少なくとも1つの弁を含み、前記少なくとも1つの弁は、前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサからの1つ以上の命令に応じて、充てん位置と、送達位置と、閉位置と、の間を動くように構成されている、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のインジェクタシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの弁は、前記ベースライン圧縮性データの決定および前記空気チェック加圧シーケンスの実行のうちの少なくとも一方のために、前記閉位置に位置する、請求項11に記載のインジェクタシステム。
- 流体インジェクタシステムの少なくとも1つのリザーバ内の空気を検出するための方法であって、前記方法は、
前記流体インジェクタシステムの前記少なくとも1つのリザーバについて、ベースライン圧縮性データを含むベースライン値を決定するステップであって、前記少なくとも1つのリザーバが少なくとも1つの流体出入り口を有し、前記少なくとも1つのリザーバが第1の量の医療用流体および既知の量の空気で実質的に満たされている、ステップであって、前記少なくとも1つのリザーバが加圧され、圧縮された第1の量の前記医療用流体および前記既知の量の空気の加圧された体積が、前記インジェクタシステムの1つ以上のコンポーネントのたわみと、前記リザーバおよび流体経路のコンプライアンスと、前記既知の量の空気と、に基づいて、前記ベースライン圧縮性データを提供するために測定される、ステップと、
前記第1の量の前記医療用流体および前記既知の量の空気を前記少なくとも1つのリザーバから送達するステップと、
前記少なくとも1つのリザーバを第2の量の前記医療用流体で再び満たすステップと、
第2の量の前記医療用流体で満たされた前記少なくとも1つのリザーバ内の前記医療用流体を加圧すること、および空気チェック圧縮性データを集めること、を含む、空気チェック加圧シーケンスを実行するステップと、
第2の量の前記医療用流体を有する前記少なくとも1つのリザーバに存在する空気の量を決定するために、第2の量の前記医療用流体で満たされた前記少なくとも1つのリザーバについての前記空気チェック圧縮性データを前記ベースライン圧縮性データと比較するステップと、

- 前記第2の量の前記医療用流体のうちの前記プライム量を送達するステップは、前記プライム量を、前記少なくとも1つのリザーバに存在する空気の量を除去するために必要な前記第2の量の前記医療用流体のうちの最小量に等しくなるように最適化するステップをさらに含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのリザーバに存在する空気の量が所定の体積値を超えた場合に、障害状態が存在するかどうかを判断するステップをさらに含む、請求項13から16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ベースライン値を決定するステップおよび前記空気チェック加圧シーケンスを実行するステップの少なくとも一方に先立って、前記少なくとも1つのリザーバの前記少なくとも1つの流体出入り口に組み合わせられた流体経路を閉じるステップをさらに含む、請求項13から17のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の量の前記医療用流体は、前記第1の量の前記医療用流体とは異なる、請求項13から18のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
