Claims (7)
- 複数の電池セルを収容する電池モジュールハウジング;
一つ以上の前記電池モジュールハウジングを収納する電池パックケース;及び
前記電池モジュールハウジングの一側面上に位置し、冷却水を収容しているウォータータンク;
を含み、
前記電池モジュールハウジングは、前記複数の電池セルの外面を包む構造を有する電池パックにおいて、
前記ウォータータンクは、前記電池モジュールハウジングと対面する一面に貫通口が形成されており、前記貫通口には密封部材が付加されており、
前記密封部材は、前記電池セルから放出する高温ガス又はスパークによって溶融する素材からなり、
前記密封部材の溶融によって前記貫通口が開放され、前記貫通口から、前記ウォータータンクの内部に収容された冷却水が前記電池モジュールハウジングの外面に投入され、
前記貫通口は、前記ウォータータンクの一面に複数の孔が均一に分散された形態で形成されており、
前記密封部材は前記貫通口を充填しており、前記ウォータータンクの外側面から前記貫通口の周りよりも外側にさらに延長された延長部を前記ウォータータンクの下面のみに含み、
前記ウォータータンクは、ヒートシンク一体型であり、前記ヒートシンクによって前記冷却水の温度を一定のレベルに保つ、電池パック。 - 前記ウォータータンクの内部には、流入及び排出される冷却水の流れをガイドするための流路が形成されている、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記ウォータータンクは、前記電池モジュールハウジング全体の上面を覆う大きさで形成される、請求項1または2に記載の電池パック。
- 前記ウォータータンクは、前記電池パックケースの上面の内側面に付着した形態である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池パックケースは、上部が開放された形態であり、
前記ウォータータンクは、開放された前記電池パックケースの上面を覆う形態で前記電池パックケースと結合する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の電池パック。 - 前記電池モジュールハウジング同士の間には隔壁が付加されている、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池セルは、パウチ形電池セル、角形電池セル又は円筒形電池セルである、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の電池パック。
