Description
図8は、本実施形態に係る空気入りタイヤの性能試験の結果を示す表である。この性能試験では、複数種類の試験タイヤについて、転がり抵抗性能とウエットトラクション性能に関する評価を行った。また、ウエットトラクション性能については、周方向細主溝21の新品時(0%摩耗時)及び80%摩耗時における評価を行った。評価に用いられた空気入りタイヤ1のサイズは、315/70R22.5である。評価に用いた車両は、6×4トラクターにトレーラーを接続した車両である。

Claims (8)
- トレッド部にタイヤ周方向に延在する周方向溝を有し、
前記周方向溝は、前記トレッド部の表面に開口する細溝部と、溝底に前記細溝部よりも溝幅が拡幅した拡幅部とを備え、
前記細溝部の溝幅W1と前記拡幅部の最大溝幅W2との溝幅比(W2/W1)が1.5≦(W2/W1)≦4.0の範囲にあり、
前記周方向溝の最大溝深さの50%の深さ位置で該周方向溝を二分割した際に、タイヤ子午断面における溝底側断面積A2と溝開口側断面積A1との断面積比(A2/A1)が1.2≦(A2/A1)≦4.0の範囲内にあり、かつ、前記拡幅部の拡幅開始点の高さ位置を変化させるとともに該拡幅部の高さを変化させることで前記断面積比(A2/A1)が前記タイヤ周方向に沿って変化することを特徴とするタイヤ。 - 前記周方向溝は、前記トレッド部の表面からの溝深さが前記最大溝深さの30%未満の領域で、前記細溝部の溝幅W1が1.0mm≦W1≦4.0mmの範囲にある請求項1に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記周方向溝は、前記拡幅部の最大溝幅W2が3.0mm≦W2≦8.0mmの範囲にある請求項1または2に記載のタイヤ。
- 複数の前記周方向溝により区画された陸部を備え、前記陸部は、前記周方向溝と交差する複数のラグ溝またはサイプにより分断されたブロックを有し、
前記周方向溝は、タイヤ周方向における前記ブロックのピッチ長さの範囲内に、前記断面積比(A2/A1)が変化する際の極大値及び極小値を少なくとも1つずつ有する請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のタイヤ。 - 前記トレッド部に前記周方向溝に開口する複数のラグ溝またはサイプを有し、
前記ラグ溝または前記サイプが開口する開口部における前記拡幅部をタイヤ子午断面で切った第1断面積S1は、隣接する一対の前記開口部のタイヤ周方向の中間部における前記拡幅部を該タイヤ子午断面で切った第2断面積S2よりも小さい請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のタイヤ。 - 前記第2断面積S2と前記第1断面積S1との比(S2/S1)が1.2≦(S2/S1)≦2.5である請求項5に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第1断面積S1は前記拡幅部の最小断面積であり、複数の前記第2断面積S2のうち少なくとも1つが前記拡幅部の最大断面積である請求項5または6に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記周方向溝は、前記拡幅部の拡幅開始位置が前記最大溝深さの30%以上65%以下の範囲内で変位する請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のタイヤ。
