Claims (15)
- ガスカートリッジのフランジブルシールに穿孔するためのインフレータ用ピアスピンであって、
リムを有する先端を有するチューブ部材を形成する軸方向穴を有するシャフトと、
前記リムを横切って、前記先端に前記チューブ部材内の適切な深さまでタブを形成するよう形成された一対のスロットであって、前記タブは、前記一対のスロットの形成後に前記軸方向穴に内側に向かって曲げられる、一対のスロットと、

前記タブは、前記フランジブルシールを貫通しない、
ピアスピン。 - 前記シャフトは、概して円形の円筒状である、
請求項1に記載のピアスピン。 - 前記軸方向穴は、概して円形の円筒状である、

請求項3に記載のピアスピン。 - 前記一対のスロットは、前記シャフトの軸方向に垂直な断面において前記リムの弦に沿って形成される、

請求項5に記載のピアスピン。 - 前記軸方向穴の直径は、前記インフレータの前記ガスカートリッジから漏れ出るガスの所望の流速を達成する、
請求項6に記載のピアスピン。 - 前記チューブ部材のルーメンおよび外表面は、概して同心であり、前記軸方向穴の前記ルーメンから前記チューブ部材の前記外表面に延びる壁の厚さは、概して均一である、
請求項7に記載のピアスピン。 - 前記先端は、均一な厚さの概して円形の円筒状リムを備える、

請求項11に記載のピアスピン。 - 前記先端が前記ガスカートリッジの前記フランジブルシールに衝突すると、前記優弧リムが、前記ガスカートリッジの前記フランジブルシールに弓形の穴を強制的に打ち抜き、前記弓形の穴は、前記優弧リムと同じ優弧寸法を有し、それにより、前記ガスカートリッジの前記フランジブルシールの打ち抜かれた部分からコアリングされた優弧スラグを定義し、前記コアリングされたスラグは、前記優弧リムと同じ寸法を有する、
