上顎部及び下顎部に互いに対向するように装着される上下一対のロウ堤と、上下のロウ堤のうち一方のロウ堤の左右両側の頂部に固定される左右一対のバイトリムと、を備えた総義歯用咬合採得装置において、
前記上下一対のロウ堤が、前歯部及び臼歯部を含む平面視略U字形状を有し、
前記左右一対のバイトリムが、前記一方のロウ堤における前記臼歯部に固定する固定部とこの固定部から他方のロウ堤側に突出する複数の印記突部とを有し、
前記バイトリムの固定部は、前記臼歯部の頂部に裏面が密着する基板部と、前記基板部の裏面に設けられて前記臼歯部に埋設する係止突起と、で構成され、
前記複数の印記突部は、それぞれ前記基板部の表面と直交する軸を中心にした回転体形状に形成されて頂部に半球形状乃至球冠形状を有するとともに、前記基板部の表面に互いに間隔を空けて同じ高さに突設され、
前記係止突起は、前記印記突部と同軸に設けられ、
前記一対のロウ堤は、加熱軟化されることなく咬合力によって圧痕が形成可能なロウ材により構成されており、
前記印記突部の頂部で前記臼歯部に対してタッピングを繰り返すことで前記ロウ堤に前記圧痕が形成されるようにしたことを特徴とする、総義歯用咬合採得装置。
