Description
Claims (17)
- eベイピング装置部分の表面を腐食から保護する方法であって、前記方法が、
前記表面を腐食から保護するように構成されたコーティング混合物を調製することであって、前記コーティング混合物は、分解することなく前記eベイピング装置の使用温度に耐えるように構成されており、
前記表面を前記コーティング混合物でコーティングして前記表面上に保護コーティングを形成することと、を含み、
前記コーティングが、電着、浸漬、吹き付け、および蒸着のうちの一つを介して実施され、
前記コーティング混合物がシランおよび有機ポリマーを含む、方法。 - 前記eベイピング装置部分の表面が、プレベイパー製剤と接触して配置されたeベイピング装置の金属部分の表面を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記eベイピング装置の金属部分の表面が、前記装置の貯蔵部またはカートリッジの内壁、あるいは前記装置のヒーターの内側表面である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティング混合物を前記調製することが、
第一のポリマーを溶解することによって第一の混合物を調製することと、
第二のポリマーを溶解することによって第二の混合物を調製することと、
シランを溶解することによって第三の混合物を調製することと、を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第一の混合物を前記調製することが、
1重量パーセント~5重量パーセントの濃度で前記第一のポリマーを水中に溶解することと、
酢酸を添加して、前記第一の混合物のpHを6以下に調節することと、
前記第一の混合物を摂氏50度~摂氏70度に加熱することと、を含む、請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記第二の混合物を前記調製することが、
前記第二のポリマーを、30重量パーセント~40重量パーセントの粒子状分散液を含む粒子分散液中に溶解することを含み、前記第二のポリマーが陽イオンポリマーである、請求項4または5に記載の方法。 - 第三の混合物を調製することが、
溶媒をシランの5重量パーセント~20重量パーセントでシランと混合することと、
酢酸を添加してpHを調節し、加水分解シランを安定化させることと、
前記第三の混合物を、室温で10分~1時間攪拌して混合することと、含む、請求項4~6のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記コーティングが電着を介して実施される場合に、前記表面を前記コーティングすることが、
電着容器に前記コーティング混合物を充填することであって、前記電着容器が陽極および陰極を含む、充填することと、
前記陰極を前記eベイピング装置部分と接続することと、
前記eベイピング装置部分の表面上に前記コーティングフィルムを堆積させることと、を含む、請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記eベイピング装置部分を前記電着容器から取り出すことと、
前記eベイピング装置部分を洗浄することと、
前記eベイピング装置部分を乾燥させることと、を含む、請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記コーティングが浸漬を介して実施される場合に、前記表面を前記コーティングすることが、
浸漬浴に前記コーティング混合物を充填することと、
前記eベイピング装置部分を前記浸漬浴内に浸漬することと、
前記eベイピング装置部分を前記浸漬浴から取り出すことと、
前記eベイピング装置部分を洗浄することと、を含む、請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記コーティングが吹き付けを介して実施される場合に、前記表面をコーティングすることが、
吹き付け装置に前記コーティング混合物を充填することと、
前記eベイピング装置部分に前記コーティング混合物を吹き付けることと、
前記eベイピング装置部分を洗浄することと、を含む、請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の方法。 - eベイピング装置の表面を腐食から保護する方法であって、前記方法が、
前記eベイピング装置部分の前記表面を洗浄することと、
前記eベイピング装置部分の前記表面上に中間接着層を堆積させることであって、前記中間接着層がシランおよびカルボン酸を含有する、堆積させることと、
前記eベイピング装置部分の前記表面上にコーティングを堆積する蒸着を実施することと、を含む、方法。 - 前記堆積することが、0.05体積パーセント~5体積パーセントのシラン溶液を含む溶液中に前記eベイピング装置部分を浸漬することを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングがパリレンを含む、請求項12または13に記載の方法。
- 前記蒸着を実施することが、
摂氏600度以上の温度でパリレンを加熱し、パリレン二量体を単量体に熱分解することと、
前記eベイピング装置部分の金属部分上に室温で前記パリレン単量体を堆積させることと、を含む、請求項14に記載の方法。 - 前記蒸着を実施することが、化学蒸着および物理蒸着のうちの一つを実施することを含む、請求項12~15のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記中間接着層の厚さが0.1マイクロメートル~5マイクロメートルである、請求項12~16のいずれかに記載の方法。
