Description
Claims (11)
- 末端部と基端部とを有する細長い本体と、
前記細長い本体の一部に沿った、組織を切除するアブレーション装置と、
前記組織を照明するために、前記組織中のミトコンドリア還元型アミド・アデニン・ヌクレオチド(NADH)を励起するために十分な少なくとも一つの波長を有する光を提供する光源と、
照明された前記組織からNADH蛍光を検出するために少なくとも一つの波長を有する光を受けるように構成された、照明された前記組織からNADH蛍光を検出するセンサと、
前記光源からの前記光を組織に送り且つ前記NADH蛍光を前記センサに送る、一つ又は複数の光ファイバと、
前記アブレーション装置を用いて前記組織を切除する間、前記センサから検出された前記NADH蛍光をリアルタイムに取得する工程と、
前記組織の切除の進行を監視するために、検出された前記NADH蛍光のデジタル表示を生成する工程と、
前記組織を切除する間、検出された前記NADH蛍光の強度変化に関してその詳細をリアルタイムに取得し且つ更新し、更なるアブレーションが必要か否かをユーザが判断できるようにする工程、を実行するようにプログラムされたプロセッサを備えた、組織を撮影するシステム。 - 前記組織を照明する前記光は、300nmと400nmとの間の少なくとも一つの波長を有する、請求項1のシステム。
- 前記センサは、435nmと485nmの間の少なくとも一つの波長を有する光を受けるように構成されている、請求項2のシステム。
- 前記アブレーション装置は、無線周波数エネルギー、マイクロ波エネルギー、電気エネルギー、電磁エネルギー、冷凍エネルギー、レーザエネルギー、超音波エネルギー、音響エネルギー、化学エネルギー、及び熱エネルギーから選択されたエネルギー源を有する、請求項1のシステム。
- 前記細長い本体の前記末端部に流体を供給するように構成されたかん流ポートを有する、請求項1のシステム。
- 前記末端部の近傍に前記細長い本体に沿って配置された膨張可能なバルーンを有する、請求項1のシステム。
- 前記細長い本体が血管カテーテルである、請求項1のシステム。
- 末端部と基端部を有する細長い本体と、
組織切除するために前記細長い本体の前記末端部に配置されたアブレーション装置と、
組織を照明して前記組織のミトコンドリア還元型アミド・アデニン・ヌクレオチド(NADH)を励起するために、波長が300nmと400nmの間の光を提供する光源と、
照明された前記組織からNADH蛍光を検出するために、波長が435nmと485nmの間の光を受けて、照明された前記組織からNADH蛍光を検出するように構成されたセンサと、
前記光源からの光を前記組織に送り且つ前記NADH蛍光を前記センサに送る、一つ又は複数の光ファイバと、
前記センサと関連付けられ、照明された組織の検出されたNADH蛍光の表示を生成するとともに前記表示をリアルタイムに更新して前記検出されたNADH蛍光の強度変化を示し、更なるアブレーションが必要か否かをユーザが判断できるように構成されたプロセッサ、を備えた組織を撮影するシステム。 - 前記細長い本体が血管カテーテルである、請求項8のシステム。
- 前記アブレーション装置は、無線周波数エネルギー、マイクロ波エネルギー、電気エネルギー、電磁エネルギー、冷凍エネルギー、レーザエネルギー、超音波エネルギー、音響エネルギー、化学エネルギー、及び熱エネルギーから選択されたエネルギー源を有する、請求項8のシステム。
- 前記細長い本体に沿って配置された膨張可能なバルーンを有する、請求項8のシステム。
