Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態を示すタイヤ1のトレッド部2の展開図である。本実施形態のタイヤ1は、例えば、空気入りタイヤとして構成される。本実施形態では、好ましい態様として、乗用車やSUVに装着が意図されたオールシーズンタイヤが示されている。本実施形態のタイヤ1のトレッド部2は、車両への装着の向きが指定されておらず、例えば、タイヤ赤道C上の点について点対称のパターンを有する。但し、本発明は、このような態様に限定されるものではない。
装着リム:16×7.0J
タイヤ内圧:250KPa
テスト車両:排気量2500cc、前輪駆動車
タイヤ装着位置:全輪
上記テスト車両でドライ路面を走行したときの操縦安定性が、運転者の官能により評価された。結果は、比較例を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、ドライ路面での操縦安定性が優れていることを示す。
各テストタイヤが装着された上記テスト車両で雪路を走行したときの性能が、運転者の官能により評価された。結果は、比較例を100とする評点であり、数値が大きい程、雪上性能が優れていることを示す。
テスト結果が表1に示される。

Claims (10)
- トレッド部を有するタイヤであって、
前記トレッド部は、タイヤ周方向に延びる第1縦エッジと、タイヤ周方向に延びる第2縦エッジとで区分された踏面を有する陸部を含み、
前記陸部には、前記第1縦エッジから前記第2縦エッジに延びる横溝が設けられ、
前記横溝は、前記第1縦エッジから延びる第1部分と、前記第2縦エッジから延びる第2部分と、これらを連結する連結部とを含み、
前記連結部は、前記第1部分からタイヤ周方向に突出する第1小エッジと、前記第2部分から前記第1小エッジとは反対側のタイヤ周方向に突出する第2小エッジとの間の部分であり、
前記第1小エッジ及び前記第2小エッジのタイヤ周方向の長さは、前記第1部分の最大の溝幅及び前記第2部分の最大の溝幅よりも小さく、
前記連結部は、その少なくとも一部に、前記横溝の前記第1縦エッジでの深さ及び前記第2縦エッジでの深さよりも小さい深さの上げ底部を有する、

前記連結部は、前記陸部のタイヤ軸方向の中心位置よりも前記トレッド端側に位置している、請求項1記載のタイヤ。 - 前記第1部分は、その少なくとも一部に、前記上げ底部と同じ深さを有する、請求項1又は2記載のタイヤ。
- 前記陸部には、前記第2縦エッジから延びかつ前記陸部内で途切れる短溝が設けられている、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記短溝は、前記陸部のタイヤ軸方向の中心位置よりも前記第2縦エッジ側で途切れている、請求項4記載のタイヤ。
- 前記短溝は、前記第2縦エッジ側の端から前記陸部内の途切れ端に向かって深さが漸減している、請求項4又は5記載のタイヤ。
- 前記陸部には、前記第1縦エッジから前記第2縦エッジまで延びるサイプが設けられている、請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
- 前記サイプは、本体部と、前記本体部よりも小さい深さを有する浅底部とを含む、請求項7記載のタイヤ。
- 前記陸部には、前記浅底部のタイヤ軸方向の位置が異なる複数種類の前記サイプが設けられている、請求項8記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第1小エッジと前記第2部分の溝縁とは、溝外方に凸となる円弧部で接続されており、前記第2小エッジと前記第1部分の溝縁とは、溝外方に凸となる円弧部で接続されている請求項1ないし9のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
