Description
Claims (8)
- 無線通信端末であって、
無線信号を送受信するように構成された送受信部と、
前記送受信部を介して送受信された無線信号を処理するように構成されたプロセッサと、を含み、
前記プロセッサは、
前記送受信部を介して第1パケットを受信し、
前記第1パケットの受信信号強度を測定し、
前記第1パケットが、前記無線通信端末が関連付けられている基本サービスセット(BSS)と同じBSSのパケットであるか、又は前記無線通信端末が関連付けられているBSSとは異なるBSSのパケットであるかを判別し、
前記第1パケットが、前記無線通信端末が関連付けられているBSSとは異なる前記BSSの前記パケットであると判別されたときに、前記第1パケットの前記受信信号強度に基づいてチャネルにアクセスし、
前記第1パケットの前記受信信号強度が設定値を下回るときにパケットを送信する、ように構成され、
前記第1パケットに応答して伝送される第2パケットの伝送期間内に前記パケットが送信される、無線通信端末。 - 前記チャネルにアクセスするかどうかは、前記無線通信端末によって伝送される前記パケットの意図された送信パワーが、前記第1パケットの前記受信信号強度に基づいて決定された閾値を下回るかどうかに依存する、請求項1に記載の無線通信端末。
- 前記第1パケットの前記受信信号強度が高いほど、前記無線通信端末によって伝送されるパケットの許容送信パワーは低い、請求項2に記載の無線通信端末。
- 前記プロセッサは、
前記第1パケットのBSS識別子情報を抽出し、
前記第1パケットの前記BSS識別子情報を、前記無線通信端末が関連付けられている前記BSSのBSS識別子情報と比較する、ように構成され、
前記BSS識別子情報を比較した結果に基づいて、前記第1パケットが、前記無線通信端末が関連付けられている前記BSSと同じBSSの前記パケットであるか、又は前記無線通信端末が関連付けられている前記BSSとは異なる前記BSSの前記パケットであるかを判別する、請求項1に記載の無線通信端末。 - 端末の無線通信方法であって、
第1パケットを受信するステップと、
前記第1パケットの受信信号強度を測定するステップと、
前記第1パケットが、前記端末が関連付けられている基本サービスセット(BSS)と同じBSSのパケットであるか、又は前記端末が関連付けられているBSSとは異なるBSSのパケットであるかを判別するステップと、
前記第1パケットが、前記端末が関連付けられているBSSとは異なる前記BSSの前記パケットであると判別されたときに、前記第1パケットの前記受信信号強度に基づいてチャネルにアクセスするステップと、
前記第1パケットの前記受信信号強度が設定値を下回るときにパケットを送信するステップと、を含み、
前記第1パケットに応答して伝送される第2パケットの伝送期間内に前記パケットが送信される、無線通信方法。 - 前記チャネルにアクセスするかどうかは、前記端末によって伝送される前記パケットの意図された送信パワーが、前記第1パケットの前記受信信号強度に基づいて決定された閾値を下回るかどうかに依存する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記第1パケットの前記受信信号強度が高いほど、前記端末によって伝送されるパケットの許容送信パワーは低い、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記判別するステップは、
前記第1パケットのBSS識別子情報を抽出するステップと、
前記第1パケットの前記BSS識別子情報を、前記端末が関連付けられている前記BSSのBSS識別子情報と比較するステップと、を更に含み、
前記BSS識別子情報を比較した結果に基づいて、前記第1パケットが、前記端末が関連付けられている前記BSSと同じBSSの前記パケットであるか、又は前記端末が関連付けられている前記BSSとは異なる前記BSSの前記パケットであるかを判別する、請求項5に記載の方法。
