Description
本出願は、2015年10月15日出願の米国仮出願第62/241,995号による優先権を主張する。その開示の全文が参照により本明細書に援用される。
図1(a)および図1(b)は、本発明の第1の実施形態に対する例示的な操作可能な医療器具の図である。医療器具1は、外側チューブ2と、内側チューブ5と、イントロデューサ6とを備えている。具体的には、図1(b)は、外側チューブ2に透明な色を用いることにより外側チューブ2の内部を示している。
本発明の第2の実施形態は、図1(a)および図1(b)の操作可能な医療器具と類似の構成を有する。しかし、本実施形態の外側チューブ2は、第1実施形態と異なる。外側チューブ2は、また、開口部7および変形可能部分13も備える(図4(a)、図4(b)、図4(c)、図5(a)、図5(b)および図5(c))。特に、図4(a)および図4(b)は、例示的な操作可能な医療器具を示しており、図4(b)は、透明な外側チューブ2の下の構造を示し、図4(c)は、曲がったときのプローブ先端を示す。
本発明の第3の実施形態は、図1(a)および図1(b)の操作可能な医療器具と類似の構成を有する。しかし、本実施形態の内側チューブ5は、第1実施形態と異なる。
いくつかの例示的実施形態では、医師が再挿入することなく挿入後に挿入方向または先端の位置/方向を調節できるように、内側チューブの位置を制御することによって、操作可能な医療器具の先端を関節運動(articulate)させることができる。したがって、挿入を試みる回数を増やすことなく、針の配置精度を向上させることができる。単回または少数回の挿入を維持することは、生検および切除治療中の挿入軌道に沿って癌を播種する危険性を低下させるために重要である。したがって、これらの実施形態は、さらなる挿入を必要とすることなく、より正確な挿入方向および位置を提供する際に特別な利点を提供する。
Claims (9)
- 長手方向に沿う重心軸を有し、近位端部および遠位端部を有し、複数の開口部を有する外側チューブと、
前記外側チューブによって取り囲まれ、前記長手方向に沿う前記重心軸を有し、近位端部および遠位端部を有し、複数の開口部を有する内側チューブと、
を備え、
前記内側チューブは、前記近位端部においては前記重心軸に沿って前記外側チューブに対して移動可能であり、前記内側チューブは前記遠位端部において前記外側チューブの前記遠位端部に固定され、
前記外側チューブおよび前記内側チューブの前記複数の開口部は、前記内側チューブまたは前記外側チューブのいずれかを前記近位端部で動かすことによって前記外側チューブおよび前記内側チューブが湾曲可能なように、前記重心軸からオフセットされた変形可能部分を形成し、前記外側チューブおよび前記内側チューブの前記複数の開口部は、長手方向に沿って交互に配置されており、互いに重ならず、
前記内側チューブは解剖学的構造を穿刺するための斜めの先端を有する、
操作可能な中空針。 - 前記外側チューブの前記変形可能部分および前記内側チューブの前記変形可能部分は、反対向きの幾何学的配置を有する、請求項1に記載の操作可能な中空針。
- 複数の変形可能部分は、前記重心軸に沿って分布する、請求項1に記載の操作可能な中空針。
- 前記複数の開口部は、前記操作可能な医療器具のねじれ運動を制限する鍵部分を有し、前記鍵部分は前記重心軸方向に沿って凹部と凸部を有するように構成された、請求項1に記載の操作可能な中空針。
- 前記外側チューブの前記曲げ剛性および前記内側チューブの前記曲げ剛性は、同じである、請求項1に記載の操作可能な中空針。
- 前記操作可能な中空針は、前記重心を共有する前記外側チューブの外側に位置するイントロデューサを有し、前記外側チューブは前記イントロデューサ内で回転可能である、請求項1に記載の操作可能な中空針。
- 前記複数の開口部は、前記重心軸に沿って「L」または「J」形状に開口している、請求項1に記載の操作可能な中空針。
- 長さL当たり少なくとも1つの開口部があり、Lは、前記外側チューブの直径の3倍である、請求項1に記載の操作可能な中空針。
- 前記複数の開口部は、規則的なパターンを形成する、請求項1に記載の操作可能な中空針。
