Description
前記内導体は、相手端子金具に弾性的に接触する撓み可能な弾性片を有し、前記弾性片は、前記内導体の外面に露出しており、前記外導体は、前記弾性片を包囲する筒部を有しているとよい。このように撓み可能な弾性片が内導体の外面に露出する場合、弾性片を保護した状態で、端子金具を圧着作業を行う作業現場に搬送等するのが望まれる。その点、上記構成によれば、外導体に内導体を組み付け、筒部が弾性片を包囲した状態で搬送し、作業現場で開口部を通して中心導体圧着部に対する圧着作業を行うことができる。その結果、弾性片を保護状態に置くことができる。また、内導体に弾性片を包囲する外筒部分が設けられないため、内導体と相手端子金具との間の外形寸法差を小さく抑えることができ、特性インピーダンスの向上を図ることができる。
以下、実施例1を図面に基づいて説明する。実施例1に係る端子金具Tは、シールド電線Wの端末部に接続され、図1に示すように、内導体11、外導体12、誘電体13及びカバー部材14を備えている。内導体11、外導体12及びカバー部材14は、いずれも導電性の金属材料からなり、誘電体13は、絶縁性の合成樹脂材料からなる。この端子金具Tは、前方から相手端子金具60に電気的に接続される。
図19に示すように、接続片部86は、内導体側包囲本体部87の前端に対して外側に屈曲して連なる接続基端部97と、接続基端部97から前方に突出し、内導体側包囲本体部87とほぼ平行な湾曲形状の接続本体部98とを有する。図20に示すように、接続本体部98は、接続基端部97の両側に張り出す形態とされ、内側へ小さく突出する突状接点部99を有している。突状接点部99は、エンボス状に膨出する形態とされ、接続本体部98の両側に対をなして設けられている。
まず、内導体11の相手接続部15及び筒状部16が誘電体13の内導体挿入孔26に挿入される。すると、内導体11の繋ぎ部17及び中心導体圧着部18は、誘電体13の後面から後方に突出(露出)して配置される。
内導体11が外導体12に組み付けられた後、中心導体圧着部18用の治具が両開口部43、44を通して中心導体圧着部18に当てがわれ、その状態で中心導体圧着部18がシールド電線Wの芯線51に圧着接続される。このため、組み付けの作業性が良好となるのに加え、端子金具Tの搬送過程等において、相手接続部15の両弾性片22を外導体12の筒部34で覆って保護状態に置くことができる。
以下、他の実施例を簡単に説明する。
(1)連結部が両側壁部と交差する底壁部分を有し、底壁部分の中央側に、アンビル挿入口が開口する形態であってもよい。
(2)連結部の開口部はクリンパー挿入口のみで構成され、アンビル挿入口側は閉塞されていてもよい。
(3)編組線、シールド圧着部及びシールド側包囲部は、編組線の過度な偏りが生じない程度に、断面円形状から変形した形態であってもよい。
(4)相手端子金具は、シールド電線を介さず、プリント回路基板のシールド導電路に直接接続されるものであってもよい。

Claims (4)
- シールド電線の中心導体に圧着される中心導体圧着部を有する内導体と、
前記中心導体圧着部を内側に配する連結部、前記連結部に開口する開口部、及び前記連結部に連なって前記シールド電線のシールド層に圧着されるシールド圧着部を有する外導体と、
前記開口部を塞いで前記外導体と電気的に接触するカバー部材と、を備え、
前記カバー部材の内面に、絶縁包囲部が設けられ、前記絶縁包囲部の内側に前記中心導体圧着部が配置される端子金具。 - 前記内導体は、相手端子金具に弾性的に接触する撓み可能な弾性片を有し、前記弾性片は、前記内導体の外面に露出しており、前記外導体は、前記弾性片を包囲する筒部を有している請求項1に記載の端子金具。
- 前記カバー部材は、前記シールド圧着部と前記筒部とに電気的に接触する請求項2に記載の端子金具。
- 前記カバー部材は、前記シールド圧着部をその外周に沿って包囲する包囲部を有している請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の端子金具。
