Description
(i)0.01〜3.0重量%の平均粒径が0.25〜8μmの亜鉛系抗ふけ剤と;
(ii)0.04〜2.0重量%の100万〜150万ダルトンの分子量および0.16〜0.20のカチオン置換度を有するカチオン変性グアー沈着ポリマーと
を含む毛髪ケア組成物が提供される。
本明細書で使用される「置換度」は、糖単位1モル当たりのカチオン基の平均モル数を指す。置換度(DS)は、重水(D2O)と塩化重水素(DCl)混合物の溶媒中で1H NMRを用いて測定する。例えば、グアーヒドロキシルプロピルトリモニウムクロリドのDSは、1H NMRを用いて測定し、スペクトルを25℃で記録する。NMRを用いた測定用試料を、以下のように調製する。ポリマー試料を撹拌しながらD2OおよびDCl溶液中に分散させ、次いで、沸騰水浴に1時間入れる。室温に冷却した後、試料を濾過し、清澄な濾液をNMR管に注ぎ入れる。
本明細書で使用される「カチオン電荷密度」は、所与のポリマーの重量単位当たりのカチオン電荷の数を指す。カチオン電荷密度は、その開示の全体、特に8頁8〜17行が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる、国際公開第2013/011122号に記載されている置換度から計算することができる。例えば、2,3−エポキシプロピルトリメチルアンモニウムクロリドと反応させることによって得られるカチオン変性グアーポリマーについては、カチオン電荷密度を、以下の式を用いてDSから計算することができる:
本明細書で使用される「水不溶性」とは、25℃および大気圧での物質の水中の溶解度が0.1重量%以下であることを指す。
本明細書で使用される「分子量」は、所与のポリマーの重量平均分子量を指し、本明細書のカチオン性グアーガムの重量平均分子量(WAVG MW)は、ELSD(蒸発光散乱検出器)を用いてSEC(サイズ排除クロマトグラフィー)によって決定する。MWはプルラン標準較正セットに対して決定する。
本明細書で使用される平均粒径は、Malvern Mastersizer 2000装置を用いた光散乱技術を用いて測定される体積平均粒径を指す。測定に使用された設定は、粒子吸収0.1と分散剤としての水、オブスキュレーション限界(obscuration limit)10〜12%およびポンプ速度960rpmを含んでいた。試料の平均粒径は、3つの試料読み取りの平均としての粒径分布曲線から測定した。
好ましくは、本発明の組成物は懸濁化剤をさらに含む。適切な懸濁化剤は、ポリアクリル酸、アクリル酸の架橋ポリマー、アクリル酸と疎水性モノマーのコポリマー、カルボン酸含有モノマーとアクリルエステルのコポリマー、アクリル酸とアクリル酸エステルの架橋コポリマー、ヘテロ多糖ガムおよび結晶性長鎖アシル誘導体から選択される。長鎖アシル誘導体は、望ましくは、エチレングリコールステアレート、16〜22個の炭素原子を有する脂肪酸のアルカノールアミドおよびこれらの混合物から選択される。エチレングリコールジステアレートおよびポリエチレングリコール3ジステアレートは、組成物に真珠光沢を付与するので、好ましい長鎖アシル誘導体である。ポリアクリル酸は、Carbopol 420、Carbopol 488またはCarbopol 493として市販されている。多官能剤で架橋されたアクリル酸のポリマーも使用することができる。それらは、Carbopol 910、Carbopol 934、Carbopol 941およびCarbopol 980として市販されている。カルボン酸含有モノマーとアクリル酸エステルとの適切なコポリマーの例はCarbopol 1342である。全てのCarbopol(商標)材料はGoodrichから入手可能である。
上で調製した種々のシャンプー組成物は、以下の表2に示されるZPTO仕様を有していた。種々の組成物のZPTO沈着効率を、以下に示されるインビトロモデルを用いて測定した。
以下の表3に示されるように、ZPTO試料(全て非晶質形態)を使用したことを除いて、表1によるシャンプー試料を調製した。この試験に使用した試料のいくつか(実施例4〜6)は、上記表2と同じであった。
マラセチア・フルフル(M.furfur)を最初にピチロスポルム属(Pityrosporum)ブロスに接種し、次いで、寒天スラリーに移して約2〜6×105個細胞/mlの最終濃度にした。Vitro−Skin(商標)を、ざらざらした微細構成を上に向け、プラスチックリング支持体に挟んだ。シャンプー0.2gで処理し、水1.8mlで2回洗い流した後、Vitro−Skin(商標)リングをModified Dixon Agarプレート上に置き、塩化ナトリウム溶液0.2mlとマラセチア・フルフル(M.furfur)をざらざらした皮膚表面に穏やかにピペットで入れた。24時間のインキュベーション後、Vitro−Skin(商標)をButterfieldのリン酸緩衝液10mlを含むバイアルに入れ、次いで、ボルテックスし、超音波処理した。上記溶液の100〜10−3希釈液20μlをModified Dixon Agarプレートに播種し、さらに3〜4日間インキュベートした。次いで、各プレート上のコロニーの数を数え、最終的な数を適切な希釈倍数を掛けることによって決定した。各試料の対数減少を以下のように計算し、3回反復して平均した。
Claims (12)
- (i)0.01〜3.0重量%の平均粒径が0.25〜8μmの亜鉛系抗ふけ剤と;
(ii)0.04〜2.0重量%の100万〜150万ダルトンの分子量および0.16〜0.20のカチオン置換度を有するカチオン変性グアー沈着ポリマーと
を含む毛髪ケア組成物であって、
0.025〜0.75重量%のクリンバゾールをさらに含む組成物。 - 前記亜鉛系抗ふけ剤が0.5〜8μm、好ましくは1〜7.5μm、より好ましくは1〜5μmの平均粒径を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 0.01〜1.5%の亜鉛系抗ふけ剤を含む、請求項1または2に記載の組成物。
- 前記亜鉛系抗ふけ剤がピリチオン亜鉛である、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 0.04〜0.5%のカチオン変性グアー沈着ポリマーを含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリマーがグアーヒドロキシプロピルトリモニウムクロリドである、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 亜鉛化合物をさらに含む、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記亜鉛化合物が酸化亜鉛、クエン酸亜鉛、マロン酸亜鉛または炭酸亜鉛から選択される、請求項7に記載の組成物。
- 組成物の重量の0.1〜3重量%の亜鉛化合物を含む、請求項7または8に記載の組成物。
- ビタミンB3化合物をさらに含む、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- シャンプーである、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 均一な沈着プロファイルでの亜鉛系抗ふけ剤の頭皮への沈着を最大化する非治療的方法であって、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の組成物を所望の頭皮表面に施用した後、前記表面を水ですすぐステップを含む方法。
