上記の実施形態のいずれかに対して代替的に又は付加的に、引張抵抗部材はポリマーを含む。
非円形のルーメン内に配置される作動シャフト、及び作動シャフトに連結される植え込み可能な心臓弁を含む、前進させること、展開カテーテルを内側シャフトに対して後退させること、作動シャフトを内側シャフトに対して並進移動させることであって、作動シャフトを並進移動させることによって、植え込み可能な医療デバイスが、折り畳まれた位置から展開された位置にシフトする、並進移動させることを含む、方法。

Claims (13)
- 植え込み可能な医療デバイスの送達システムであって、
近位端領域、遠位端領域、これらを通って延在する非円形のルーメンを有する内側シャフト、及び、前記近位端領域と前記遠位端領域との間に少なくとも部分的に延在する引張抵抗部材と、
前記非円形のルーメン内に延在する第1の筒状部材であって、内部に延在するガイドワイヤを受け入れるように設計されている第1の筒状部材と、
前記内側シャフトの外面に沿って配置される展開カテーテルと、
前記非円形のルーメン内に配置される作動シャフトとを備え、
前記作動シャフトは、前記植え込み可能な医療デバイスに連結され、
前記作動シャフトの並進移動によって、前記植え込み可能な医療デバイスが第1の位置から第2の位置にシフトする、送達システム。 - 前記植え込み可能な医療デバイスは、植え込み可能な心臓弁を含む、請求項1に記載の送達システム。
- 前記内側シャフトは、前記内側シャフトの両側に沿って配置される一対の引張抵抗部材を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の送達システム。
- 前記送達システムは、前記非円形のルーメン内に配置される一対の作動シャフトを、更に備え、前記非円形のルーメンは、前記ルーメン内の前記作動シャフトの捩れを制限するように設計されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の送達システム。
- 前記内側シャフトは、前記展開カテーテルに対して回転するか、並進移動するか、又は、回転及び並進移動の双方を行うように構成されている、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の送達システム。
- 前記送達システムは、前記非円形のルーメン内に延在する第2の筒状部材を、更に備え、作動シャフトは、前記第2の筒状部材内に延在する、請求項1に記載の送達システム。
- 前記非円形のルーメンは、前記第1の筒状部材及び前記第2の筒状部材の捩れを制限するように設計されている、請求項6に記載の送達システム。
- 前記引張抵抗部材は、金属ワイヤを含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の送達システム。
- 前記引張抵抗部材は、ポリマーを含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の送達システム。
- 植え込み可能な心臓弁の送達システムであって、
遠位端領域、内部を通って延在する卵型のルーメン、及び、近位端領域と前記遠位端領域との間に少なくとも部分的に延在する引張抵抗部材を有する内側シャフトと、
前記卵型のルーメン内に延在する第1の筒状部材であって、内部に延在するガイドワイヤを受け入れるように設計されている第1の筒状部材と、
前記内側シャフトの外面に沿って配置される展開カテーテルと、
前記卵型のルーメン内に配置される作動シャフトとを備え、
前記作動シャフトは、前記植え込み可能な医療デバイスに連結され、
前記作動シャフトの並進移動によって、前記心臓弁が第1の位置から第2の位置にシフトする、送達システム。 - 前記内側シャフトは、前記内側シャフトの両側に沿って配置される一対の引張抵抗部材を含む、請求項10に記載の送達システム。
- 前記送達システムは、前記卵型のルーメン内に配置される一対の作動シャフトを、更に備え、前記卵型のルーメンは、前記卵型のルーメン内の前記作動シャフトの捩れを制限するように設計されている、請求項10又は11に記載の送達システム。
- 前記送達システムは、前記卵型のルーメン内に延在する第2の筒状部材を、更に備え、作動シャフトは、前記第2の筒状部材内に延在する、請求項10に記載の送達システム。
