Description
上述した背景技術で記載した霧化ユニットでは、ヒータ形状に加工された発熱体が用いられる。発熱体に対する電源出力(例えば、電圧)が一定であると仮定すると、単位電源出力あたりのエアロゾル量を増大する観点では、ヒータ形状に加工された発熱体を形成する導電部材のうち、互いに隣接する導電部材の間隔を小さくすることが好ましい。しかしながら、互いに隣接する導電部材の間隔を小さくすると、発熱体の製造工程において発熱体を形成する導電部材の短絡が生じやすい。
(非燃焼型香味吸引器)
以下において、実施形態に係る非燃焼型香味吸引器について説明する。図1は、実施形態に係る非燃焼型香味吸引器100を示す図である。非燃焼型香味吸引器100は、燃焼を伴わずに香喫味成分を吸引するための器具であり、非吸口端から吸口端に向かう方向である所定方向Aに沿って延びる形状を有する。図2は、実施形態に係る霧化ユニット111を示す図である。なお、以下においては、非燃焼型香味吸引器100を単に香味吸引器100と称することに留意すべきである。
以下において、実施形態に係る発熱体(霧化部111R)について説明する。図3及び図4は、実施形態に係る発熱体(霧化部111R)を示す図である。図3及び図4では、霧化部111Rのうち、ヒータ部分のみが示されていることに留意すべきである。
以下において、実施形態に係る霧化ユニットの製造方法について説明する。図5は、実施形態に係る霧化ユニット111の製造方法を示すフロー図である。
実施形態に係る霧化ユニット111の製造方法では、発熱体がヒータ形状に加工された状態で、発熱体に電力を供給することによって、発熱体の表面に酸化皮膜を形成する。従って、発熱体を形成する導電部材のうち、互いに隣接する導電部材の間隔を小さくしながらも、発熱体の表面に形成された酸化皮膜によって、発熱体を形成する導電部材の短絡を抑制することができる。さらに、発熱体の表面に酸化皮膜を形成した後に発熱体をヒータ形状に加工するケースと比べて、発熱体の表面に形成された酸化皮膜の剥離を抑制しやすい。
本発明は上述した実施形態によって説明したが、この開示の一部をなす論述及び図面は、この発明を限定するものであると理解すべきではない。この開示から当業者には様々な代替実施形態、実施例及び運用技術が明らかとなろう。
Claims (11)
- エアロゾル源を霧化する霧化ユニットの一部を構成する発熱体がヒータ形状に加工された状態で、前記発熱体に電力を供給することによって、前記発熱体の表面に酸化皮膜を形成するステップAと、
前記エアロゾル源を保持する部材である液保持部材を前記発熱体に接触又は近接させるステップBと、を備え、
前記ステップAは、前記発熱体が前記エアロゾル源と接触又は近接しない状態で行われ、且つ前記液保持部材を前記発熱体に接触又は近接させた状態で行われることを特徴とする霧化ユニットの製造方法。 - 前記ステップAは、前記エアロゾル源を貯留する部材であるリザーバに前記液保持部材を接触させた状態で行われることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の霧化ユニットの製造方法。
- 前記ステップAは、前記リザーバに前記エアロゾル源を充填する前に行われることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の霧化ユニットの製造方法。
- 前記液保持部材は、100W/(m・K)以下の熱伝導率を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の霧化ユニットの製造方法。
- 前記液保持部材は、可撓性を有する素材によって構成されており、
前記ヒータ形状は、前記液保持部材に巻き回された前記発熱体の形状であり、コイル形状であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載の霧化ユニットの製造方法。 - 前記ステップAは、前記霧化ユニットから発生するエアロゾルの流路を含む空気流路を前記液保持部材が横断した状態で行われることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の霧化ユニットの製造方法。
- 前記ステップAは、前記液保持部材の少なくとも一端が前記空気流路を形成する筒状部材の外側に取り出された状態で行われることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の霧化ユニットの製造方法。
- 前記ステップAは、前記発熱体が酸化性物質と接触した状態で行われることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれかに記載の霧化ユニットの製造方法。
- 前記ステップAは、前記霧化ユニットの動作確認を行う条件に従って前記発熱体に電力を供給するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれかに記載の霧化ユニットの製造方法。
- 前記条件は、前記霧化ユニットが組み込まれる非燃焼型香味吸引器に搭載される電源と同じ電圧を1.5〜3.0秒に亘って前記発熱体に印加する処理をm(mは1以上の整数)回行う条件であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の霧化ユニットの製造方法。
- 前記ステップAは、前記発熱体に電力を間欠的に供給するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項10のいずれかに記載の霧化ユニットの製造方法。
