Description
Claims (15)
- 患者の身体内のターゲット組織領域を位置決めするシステムにおいて、
患者の身体内にマイクロインパルスレーダー入射信号を送信し、マーカからの反射信号を受信する一又はそれ以上のアンテナを具えるプローブと、
患者の身体内にインプラントするサイズのマーカであって、前記マーカからの反射信号が前記プローブによる前記マーカの同定を強化するように前記マーカに当たる前記プローブからのマイクロインパルスレーダー入射信号を変調して、変調とともにマイクロインパルスレーダー入射信号を反射するように構成された電子回路を有するマーカとを具え、
前記マーカが、非直線形状をとるようにバイアスされているが、コア部材が真っ直ぐになってターゲット組織領域内への前記マーカの導入を容易にするように弾性的にフレキシブルであることを特徴とするシステム。 - 患者の身体内のターゲット組織領域を位置決めするシステムにおいて、
患者の身体内の組織を介してターゲット組織領域内へと導入するサイズの近位端と遠位端を具えるシャフトを具える送達デバイスであって、前記ターゲット組織領域内又は周囲にインプラント可能なマーカを担持する送達デバイスと、
前記ターゲット組織領域に隣接して配置されたときに、患者の身体内にマイクロインパルスレーダー信号を送信するとともに、患者の身体からの反射信号を受信して、前記ターゲット組織領域内又は周囲にインプラントされたマーカを検出するための一又はそれ以上のアンテナを有するプローブとを具え、
前記マーカは、前記反射信号が前記マーカの同定を強化するように前記マーカに当たるマイクロインパルスレーダー信号を変調して、変調とともにマイクロインパルスレーダー入射信号を反射するように構成された電子回路を具え、
前記マーカが、非直線形状をとるようにバイアスされているが、コア部材が真っ直ぐになってターゲット組織領域内への前記マーカの導入を容易にするように弾性的にフレキシブルであることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1または2に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記電子回路は、一またはそれ以上のダイオードと、一のFETトランジスタを具え、前記反射信号が前記マーカの同定を強化するように前記マーカに当たるマイクロインパルスレーダー信号を変調する能動反射アンテナを提供するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記プローブが、約3乃至10ギガヘルツ(3−10GHz)の超広域帯(UWB)でマイクロインパルス信号を送信することを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記プローブが、前記ターゲット組織領域に隣接する患者の皮膚に置くためのほぼ平坦な患者接触面を具えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記プローブがプロセッサを具え、当該プロセッサが、前記一又はそれ以上のアンテナを用いて取得したデータから前記マーカを自動的に同定し、前記プローブに対する前記マーカの空間的関係に基づいて空間情報を決定するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記電子回路が、前記反射信号に外部エネルギィ又は電力を加えることなく、前記マーカに当たる前記プローブからの入射信号を変調するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記電子回路が、前記反射信号を位相シフトさせ、前記プローブが当該位相シフトを同定して、前記患者の身体内のその他の物体から前記マーカを区別するように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1乃至8の何れか一項に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記プローブが、前記プローブに対する前記マーカの空間的関係に基づいて空間情報を提供する出力デバイス(38)を具えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記空間情報が、組織に対して配置され且つほぼ前記マーカの方向を向いている前記プローブの端部からの距離を含むことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1乃至10の何れか一項に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記プローブが、患者の身体の組織に対して配置されるよう構成された第1の端部を有する可搬デバイスを具え、これによって、前記一又はそれ以上のアンテナを前記患者の身体内の組織に向けることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1乃至11の何れか一項に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記マーカが、細長いコア部材に担持された複数のビーズを具え、当該ビーズが、前記プローブからの信号の反射を強化して前記マーカの同定を容易にするように構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記マーカを患者の体内に導入する送達デバイスを更に具えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 患者の体内の組織にインプラントするためのマーカであって、
第1および第2の自由端部を有する細長いコア部材と、
前記コア部材に担持された電子回路であって、反射信号が前記マーカの同定を強化するように前記マーカに当たるマイクロインパルスレーダー信号を変調して、変調とともにマイクロインパルスレーダー入射信号を反射するように構成された電子回路とを具え、
前記電子回路が、前記反射信号を位相シフトさせ、プローブが当該位相シフトを同定して、前記患者の身体内のその他の物体から前記マーカを区別することを可能にすることを特徴とするマーカ。 - 請求項14に記載のマーカにおいて、
前記電子回路が、一またはそれ以上のダイオードと、一のFETトランジスタとを具えることを特徴とするマーカ。
