Description
本特許出願は2014年7月3日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/020948号に基づいており、これによる優先権を主張する。この仮出願は、参照によりその全体が本特許出願に組み込まれている。
Claims (19)
- 太陽光を用いて流体を加熱するモジュール式ソーラーパネルであって、
熱伝導材料からなる第1の平坦なプレートと、
前記第1の平坦なプレートに取り付けられて前記第1の平坦なプレートの面に対して平行な面内に配置された熱伝導材料からなる第2の平坦なプレートと、を有して構成され、
前記第1および第2の平坦なプレートの間が液密状態となるように互いに結合されて流体通路用のチャネルが形成され、前記チャネルは流体導入用の入口および流体排出用の出口を有し、
前記第2の平坦なプレートは、前記チャネルを通過する流体の流れを制御するために前記チャネル内において前記第1の平坦なプレートに向かうように突出して前記第2の平坦なプレートの外面に設けられた凹部からなる複数のギザギザ体を有し、
前記複数のギザギザ体は、前記第1の平坦なプレートに当接することなく前記チャネル内に突出し、
前記第1の平坦なプレートと熱伝導するように取り付けられた光電池セルを備え、
前記ギザギザ体は、らせん状のギザギザ体を備え、らせん状のギザギザ体の1つの先端部は、前記第2の平坦なプレートから外向きであり、
前記ギザギザ体は、前記チャネルを通る流体の流れ方向に並んだ行、および前記チャネルを通る流体の流れ方向に垂直な列に沿って配置されており、
各列のそれぞれにおいて前記ギザギザ体の先端部が前記チャネル内の流れの方向に並んでおり、
所定の列の前記ギザギザ体の先端部が前記チャネル内の流れの第1の方向に向かって並び、次の列の前記ギザギザ体の先端部が前記第1の方向とは180度異なる第2の方向に向かって並んでおり、前記ギザギザ体の先端部は隣り合う列毎に反対方向に並んでいるモジュール式ソーラ―パネル。 - 前記入口は前記出口よりも高い位置に配置される、請求項1に記載のモジュール式ソーラ―パネル。
- 前記第1および第2の平坦なプレートの双方が金属から構成されている、請求項1に記載のモジュール式ソーラ―パネル。
- 前記第1および第2の平坦なプレートの双方がアルミニウムから構成されている、請求項3に記載のモジュール式ソーラ―パネル。
- 前記入口は、前記チャネルの前記入口に沿って延びるヘッダーを含み、前記ヘッダーは、前記チャネルと連通する複数のノズルを有し、前記ノズルは前記チャネル内に流体を均一に導入するために前記ヘッダーの全長に亘って形成されている、請求項1に記載のモジュール式ソーラ―パネル。
- 前記ノズルは細長い、請求項5に記載のモジュール式ソーラ―パネル。
- さらに前記ノズルを通過する流体の流れを制御する制御機構を含む、請求項5に記載のモジュール式ソーラ―パネル。
- 前記制御機構は、前記ノズルの大きさを制御する、請求項7に記載のモジュール式ソーラ―パネル。
- 前記ヘッダーはそこに前記ノズルのそれぞれに流体を連通させる細長い開口部を有し、スリーブが入口ノズルを通過する流れを制御するために前記細長い開口部と共に移動可能である、請求項5に記載のモジュール式ソーラ―パネル。
- 前記スリーブは、前記入口ノズルと同一の形状で前記スリーブに形成された複数の穴を有し、前記スリーブは、前記穴が、前記入口ノズルと揃った位置と、前記入口ノズルからずれた位置との間を移動するように動く、請求項9に記載のモジュール式ソーラ―パネル。
- らせん状のギザギザ体の前記先端部は前記チャネルを通る流体の下流方向を向く、請求項1に記載のモジュール式ソーラ―パネル。
- 熱伝導材料からなる第1の平坦なプレートを提供する第1のステップと、
熱伝導材料からなり、複数のギザギザ体を有する第2の平坦なプレートを提供する第2のステップと、
前記第2の平坦なプレートを前記第1の平坦なプレートの平面に対して平行な平面内に位置させてこれら両プレートの間に流体通路用のチャネルを形成するように前記第2の平坦なプレートを前記第1の平坦なプレートに取り付ける第3のステップであり、前記第2の平坦なプレートが、前記チャネル内において前記第1の平坦なプレートに向かうように突出して前記第2の平坦なプレートの外面に設けられた凹部からなる複数のギザギザ体を有し、前記複数のギザギザ体が、前記第1の平坦なプレートに当接することなく前記チャネル内に突出する第3のステップと、
前記チャネルへの流体入口と流体出口を残しながら、前記第1のプレートと前記第2のプレートの周辺をシールする第4のステップと、
光電池セルを前記第1の平坦なプレートに熱伝導関係で取り付ける第5のステップと、を有し、
前記ギザギザ体は、らせん状のギザギザ体を備え、らせん状のギザギザ体の1つの先端部は、前記第2の平坦なプレートから外向きであり、
前記ギザギザ体は、前記チャネルを通る流体の流れ方向に並んだ行、および前記チャネルを通る流体の流れ方向に垂直な列に沿って配置されており、
各列のそれぞれにおいて前記ギザギザ体の先端部が前記チャネル内の流れの方向に並んでおり、
所定の列の前記ギザギザ体の先端部が前記チャネル内の流れの第1の方向に向かって並び、次の列の前記ギザギザ体の先端部が前記第1の方向とは180度異なる第2の方向に向かって並んでおり、前記ギザギザ体の先端部は隣り合う列毎に反対方向に並んでいる、ソーラ―パネルを構築する方法。 - 前記第3のステップにおいて前記第2の平坦なプレートが有する前記ギザギザ体はらせん状である、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記第4のステップが、前記流体入口を前記流体出口よりも高い位置に配置するステップを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 複数のソーラ―パネルが太陽に面するように取り付けられた構造物であって、
各ソーラ―パネルが、
熱伝導材料からなる第1の平坦なプレートと、
前記第1の平坦なプレートに取り付けられて前記第1の平坦なプレートの面に対して平行な面内に配置された熱伝導材料からなる第2の平坦なプレートと、を有して構成され、
前記第1および第2の平坦なプレートの間が液密状態となるように互いに結合されて流体通路用のチャネルが形成され、前記チャネルは流体導入用の入口および流体排出用の出口を有し、
前記第2の平坦なプレートは、前記チャネルを通過する流体の流れを制御するために前記チャネル内において前記第1の平坦なプレートに向かうように突出して前記第2の平坦なプレートの外面に設けられた凹部からなる複数のギザギザ体を有し、
前記複数のギザギザ体が、前記第1の平坦なプレートに当接することなく前記チャネル内に突出し、
前記第1の平坦なプレートと熱伝導するように取り付けられた光電池セルと、から構成され、
前記ギザギザ体は、らせん状のギザギザ体を備え、らせん状のギザギザ体の1つの先端部は、前記第2の平坦なプレートから外向きであり、
前記ギザギザ体は、前記チャネルを通る流体の流れ方向に並んだ行、および前記チャネルを通る流体の流れ方向に垂直な列に沿って配置されており、
各列のそれぞれにおいて前記ギザギザ体の先端部が前記チャネル内の流れの方向に並んでおり、
所定の列の前記ギザギザ体の先端部が前記チャネル内の流れの第1の方向に向かって並び、次の列の前記ギザギザ体の先端部が前記第1の方向とは180度異なる第2の方向に向かって並んでおり、前記ギザギザ体の先端部は隣り合う列毎に反対方向に並んでいる、構造物。 - 前記チャネル内に流体を導入するための入口は、前記チャネルを通る流れを変化させる可変開口部入口である、請求項15に記載の構造物。
- 前記出口は、前記可変開口部入口よりも大きい、請求項16に記載の構造物。
- 前記複数のソーラ―パネルは、少なくとも、ソーラ―パネルの第1の列および前記ソーラーパネルの第1の列よりも低い位置にあるソーラ―パネルの第2の列を有し、ソーラーパネルの前記第1の列は入口を有し、ソーラ―パネルの前記第2の列は出口を有し、前記流体が、ソーラ―パネルの前記第1の列からソーラ―パネルの前記第2の列へ流れることができる、請求項15に記載の構造物。
- 前記ギザギザ体は、前記入口と前記出口の間を通過する流体の流れに渦巻き状のパターンを形成する、請求項15に記載の構造。
