Description
Claims (6)
- アルミニウム合金鋳造用であり、溶融した状態のアルミニウム合金鋳造材に加えるための組織微細化剤であって、
アルミニウム合金鋳造材と同じ組成を有する母相を有し、その母相中に、アルミニウム合金鋳造材の初晶Alを微細化する初晶Al微細化物質と、アルミニウム合金鋳造材の共晶組織を微細化する共晶組織微細化物質と、が含まれており、
前記母相、初晶Al微細化物質及び共晶組織微細化物質が、互いに反応しない状態で組織微細化剤を構成しており、
前記母相に対する初晶Al微細化物質の体積比が11vol%以上30vol%以下であり、
組織微細化剤中の共晶組織微細化物質の割合が50mass%以上70mass%以下である組織微細化剤。 - 初晶Al微細化物質がAl3Ti粒子であり、共晶組織微細化物質がNa、SbあるいはSrのいずれかの元素を含む、請求項1に記載の組織微細化剤。
- 共晶組織微細化物質がフラックスである、請求項2に記載の組織微細化剤。
- 前記母相がAl−Si−Mg合金であり、共晶組織微細化物質がNaフラックスである、請求項3に記載の組織微細化剤。
- アルミニウム合金鋳造用であり、溶融した状態のアルミニウム合金鋳造材に加えるための組織微細化剤の製造方法であって、
アルミニウム合金鋳造材と同じ組成を有する母相物質と、母相物質に対する体積比が11vol%以上30vol%以下の初晶Al微細化物質と、組織微細化剤の全体に対して50mass%以上70mass%以下の共晶組織微細化物質と、を混合して混合粉末を作製する工程と、
前記混合粉末を、9MPa以上50MPa以下、150℃以上550℃以下の環境下で、前記母相、初晶Al微細化物質及び共晶組織微細化物質が互いに反応しない状態で組織微細化剤を構成するように焼結する工程と、を備える製造方法。 - 前記焼結は、放電プラズマ焼結装置で実施される請求項5に記載の製造方法。
