Claims (9)
- 造形領域を覆うチャンバと、
前記造形領域に形成された材料層にレーザ光または電子ビームを照射して固化層を形成する照射装置と、
前記チャンバへ不活性ガスを供給する少なくとも1つの供給口と、
前記チャンバから前記不活性ガスを排出する少なくとも1つの排出口と、
前記供給口と接続され前記チャンバに前記不活性ガスを供給する不活性ガス供給装置と、
前記排出口と接続され前記チャンバから排出された前記不活性ガスが供給される吸込口と、前記吸込口から送られた前記不活性ガスに含まれるヒュームをプラスまたはマイナスに荷電させる荷電極を有する荷電部と、荷電させた前記ヒュームを捕集する集塵部と、前記供給口と接続され前記ヒュームが除去された前記不活性ガスを前記チャンバに返送する返送口と、を含むヒュームコレクタと、
前記排出口と前記荷電部の間に接続され、前記排出口から排出される前記不活性ガスに含まれる酸素濃度よりも高い酸素濃度を有する調整ガスを前記ヒュームコレクタに供給する酸素濃度調整装置と、を備える、積層造形装置。 - 前記不活性ガスは、窒素である、請求項1に記載の積層造形装置。
- 前記調整ガスは、前記不活性ガスと酸素を含む酸素含有気体との混合ガスである、請求項1または請求項2に記載の積層造形装置。
- 前記酸素含有気体は、空気である、請求項3に記載の積層造形装置。
- 前記酸素濃度調整装置は、
前記不活性ガス供給装置と接続された第1の流量制御弁と、
前記酸素含有気体を供給する酸素含有気体源と接続された第2の流量制御弁と、
前記第1の流量制御弁、前記第2の流量制御弁および前記ヒュームコレクタに接続され、前記不活性ガスおよび前記酸素含有気体を混合して生成した前記調整ガスを前記ヒュームコレクタに供給する継手と、を含む、請求項3または請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の積層造形装置。 - 前記調整ガスの酸素濃度は、前記ヒュームが着火する限界酸素濃度よりも低い、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の積層造形装置。
- 前記ヒュームコレクタと接続される酸素濃度計をさらに備える、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の積層造形装置。
- 前記酸素濃度計は前記チャンバとも接続される、請求項7に記載の積層造形装置。
- 前記酸素濃度計で検出された酸素濃度が所定の閾値以上であるとき、前記荷電極への電圧印加を停止させる、請求項7または請求項8の積層造形装置。
